Re: What to study after B.Com?

    Hello my dear aspirant,

In My opinion MBA is the best choice for B.Com graduates because if you go for any other filed where you will be having less scope to get opportunities But in MBA you will be having more scope to get good opportunities in the top companies. If you do MBA in Finance Management, then you will be given more preference at the time of Interview. Most of the finance interviews companies are giving more preference to the candidates who have done their graduation with B.Com course. So you are the first person who gets job in Finance field.Already you are having some knowledge in finance so definitely it will be more useful to you for getting opportunities.Try to do MBA from good business schools where you will be having scope to get good opportunities with good packages in the top companies.Currently companies like Capital IQ,Factset,Bank of America,Axis Bank,HDFC Bank,Broadridge Financial Solutions,JP Morgan,Barkedia Financial Services,UBS,Cognizant etc..

If You want to apply for MBA course first you need to qualify in MBA entrance exams like CAT,MAT,XAT,GMAT,ICET,TANCET etc..Qualifying in the Entrance exams are compulsory. If You want to apply for above Entrance exams then you must be completed graduation from recognized university with 50% of marks with any stream and 5% of relaxation is given if you are belonging to SC and ST candidates.

My suggestion is try to do Finance Management in MBA That too good business schools then only you will be having chances to get good opportunities. Of course in MBA Finance,After completing your course also you can find opportunities in the good companies but you must be having excellent communication skills,Verbal skills and Sound knowledge in Subjects. Then You can get the job easily.

Re: What to study after B.Com?

If you want to go for higher studies after B.Com, then you must have secured good marks in your graduation. Some of the colleges or universities require the candidates to have at least 50% marks in their graduation to provide admission to the post graduation course. Many of the universities conduct entrance exams to select the eligible candidates. A few higher studies option for B.Com candidates are LLB, CA, M.Com, M.M.S, MFM, MBA, Diploma in Banking & Financial Services, CCAP, M.B.S, M.M.M, etc. Usually, B.Com candidates choose Finance as a specialization in MBA or related management post graduation course. If you have more than 55% marks in B.Com, then you can appear for the public sector bank exams for both the clerical and PO posts. If you are interested in teaching, then you can pursue B.Ed course in related subject after completing your B.Com. This course will help you in getting teaching job in government schools.
