    The CBI is controlled by the Ministry of Personnel headed by the Union Minister who reports directly to the Prime Minister of India.

    Qualifying Exam
    Candidates who wish to join the CBI must write the SSC combined graduate level exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission Examination.

    1. Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks are eligible to appear for this exam.
    2. They must be at least 20 years at the time of applying. SC/ST/OBC candidates must be at least 30 years when they apply.
    3. The candidates who qualify in the written test will be later called for a Physical Test and Interview.

    Examination Pattern : -

    a. Part I - Written Examination carrying: 400 marks

    i. General Test

    ii. General Intelligence and Reasoning

    iii. General Awareness

    iv. Numerical Ability

    b. Part II - Personality Test (Interview): 100 marks.

    i. English Language

    ii. Language Comprehension

    iii. Communication / Writing

    iv. Ability Test

    To join the CBI, you will need to appear for Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam, conducted by the SSC (Staff Selection commission) every year.CBI SI Post comes under CGL Examination

    Graduation degree course in any stream from a recognized Institute/University candidate can apply here .

    Your age should be between 21 to 27 years (relaxation of up to 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for O.B.C in upper age limit).

    For CBI officer you have appear in Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam conducted by SSC ( Staff Selection Commission )


    *Candidates must have graduate in any stream from recognized University.

    *Candidates must have atlearst 50% marks.

    *Candidates age should be 21 to 27 years. Age relaxation is given to OBC of 3 years and SC or ST 5 years.

    * Candidates Physical standard must be fir.

    * Candidates height should be 160cm , eye sight mist be 6/ 6 ,weight and chest sholdbe be perfect.

    This Examination is done Once in a Year

    Eligibility Criteria for CBI:

    Should be citizen of India
    Should have completed Graduation from Discipline University
    Should have 60% marks in graduation
    Age should be between 21-30 Years for General Candidates and 3 years Age relaxation for BC candidates and 5 Years age Relaxation for Sc/St candidates

    Physical Requirements for CBI

    Height should be 164 CMS

    CBI stands for Central Bureau of Investigation.

    This exam conducted by Staff Selection Process.


    Candidate should be citizen of India.

    Candidate should complete the Graduation from recognized University.

    No percentage for this exam.

    Final year pursuing candidates are eligible.

    Your age limit should be between 21 to 30 years.

    Upper age relaxation is applicable as per govt rules.

    Hi aspirant,

    CBI(Central Bureau of Investigation)

    Central Bureau of Investigation is under the central services of India which has a sole head known as Prime Minister. It handles the investigation department and there are also the eligibility which are required for appearing to these central services CBI recruitment and some of the required eligibility criteria is needed to be satisfied to join this organisation.

    Required Eligibility:

    *Educational Qualifications-
    You should have completed the Bachelor degree in any of the stream of study.

    *Age Limit-
    should have attained the age of 20 years and should not exceed the age of 27 years
    there are also some of the age relaxations which are available and you can appear for the examination with the consideration of the relaxations
    OBC-3 years
    SC/ST-5 years

    *Physical Conditions-
    Should be Physically fit in all the conditions such as the...
