    Download Indian Forest Service Mathematics Exam Previous Years Question Papers

    The Indian Forest Service Examination is held every year all over India. This exam is conducted by the UPSC to recruit individuals in the Indian Forest Service.

    Pattern of exam:

    A total of six papers need to be attended by every candidate appearing for this examination. Mathematics is an optional paper in this examination and is chosen by candidates who have a good grasp on this particular subject.

    Syllabus of Mathematics paper in Indian Forest Service Examination:

    Mathematics Paper I focuses on the following concepts:-

    Linear Algebra
    Analytic Geometry
    Ordinary Differential Equations
    Dynamics and Statics
    Vector Analysis

    Paper II encompasses the following:-

    Real Analysis
    Complex Analysis
    Linear Programming
    Partial differential equations
    Numerical Analysis and Computer Programming
    Mechanics and Fluid Dynamics

    Duration of Mathematics paper in Indian Forest Service Exam:

    Mathematics being an optional paper is of three hours duration for both the papers. The total marks are 300 in each of the paper.

    Scoring pattern:

    Candidates are given full marks if the process of calculation and the answer is correct. Illegal use of any procedure is a strict no no. There is no scope of negative marking though.
