Will my TCS offer letter gets cancelled if I doesn't have their required eligible percentages in graduation and post graduation?

I am an MBA student currently in 3rd sem. Recently TCS had came to our campus and I got selected in it. I also have the offer letter. I have 84.32% in 10th, 72.46% in 12th , 64.22% in B.E. (which is aggregate of last 2 semester according to our university rule) and 68.43% in MBA.

After going through some of the sites on the net I have a doubt regarding the eligibility criteria. My B.E. percentage which I filled in the form is of last 2 sems (64.22%) which is on my final marksheet and degree certificate. But my aggregate of all sems is less than 60%. But they hadn’t mentioned anything regarding it when they came for the pre placement talk, they only told about aggregate in MBA.

So I have a doubt that will my appointment be cancelled due to my graduation percentage (but on my degree certificate and my final marksheet it is 64.22%). Please guide me in this situation.

    Hi

TCS is the top most mnc after Infosys.TCS recruits graduates with minimum of 60%.Percentage verification is done at the time of selection.TCS is very strict in verification,if you don't have percentage you are not allowed to write the exam. The mode of selection is
    written test
    Interview.
Getting selected for TCS is damn easy because written test carries 40marks which consists of Aptitude questions. So, if you are good with aptitude you can easily get pass the written exam.Interview is just HR ,if you are confident you can easily get selected.

    Thank you

Dear friend, If the graduation certificate shows your performance of all the semesters then there might be a problem but if your final university graduation certificate shows the performance of only last two semesters then there should not be any problem. Your offer letter should not be cancelled as per your university rule. Don't show all the certificates of each semesters during verification. Only show the required certificates what they have asked for. Don't worry , move ahead !

thank you and all the best !

    Hello friend,

Will my TCS offer letter gets cancelled if I doesn't have their required eligible percentages in graduation and post graduation?

Yes , it can cancel your offer letter , because while recruitment process every company sets some criteria of eligibility for students . Students full filling that criteria can sit for company . According to that criteria company wants all semester aggregate (suppose in 6 semester ) , So during joining you should have that minimum aggregate .

While joining they will check your documents and that time it's necessary for you to full fill all requirements of company . Some companies give time of one semester , so that you can clear any backlog if there . But in your case I think your offer letter will be cancelled directly .

At company your all marks sheets will be checked before joining with other documents .

Eligibility for TCS company during campus
    • You should have completed or final year student of engineering degree course.
    • You should have at least 60% in total aggregate of all semesters .
    • You should not have gap of more than two years .
    • No active backlog are allowed .

    Good Luck..!!

    HI,
Yes, they will definitely cancel your offer letter, because TCP is the top 1 company in 2011 year.
They will check your certificates at the time of joining . If you kept fake certificate they will find original details internally so you can not cheat this company.
If they find then they will send out. and you can not get your salary.
Suppose if you have more percentage than they mentioned percentage then it is no problem, if you got less percentage than required percentage it creates a problem to you.
No problem because you are having more percentage than required percentage.
    All the best

    Hiii
no your offer letter will not get cancelled... as per the rules the aggrigate of BE means the agrigate written on your final degree...
as you have consistent 60+ in all your academics... you need not worry about this...
you will get your offer letter soon... good luck

    Hi!

    I understood your problem.

--> The thing is that in general, to get into TCS, you need to have a minimum of 60% in your graduation, which is B.E.

--> But, as you've mentioned that according to your University rule, you have 64.22%, and that matters, not the actual aggregate of all your sems.

--> Your Certificates are what that matter, so you need not worry about anything at all. Just be cool.

--> Offer Letter do not get cancelled at any cost, unless you do not accept it in the specified time.

--> All the Background check and the documents/certificates checking is done when you are about to join the company which is gonna happen after you receive your call letter.

--> And as long as your certificate shows it 64.22%, you are safe and need not worry about anything else.

    Hope this helped you.

    Regards!

    my friend,
don't worry. If they not mention about the eligility during they came for your campus, then you can argument and requested If then they will take any action against your call letter. And If you get call letter, then very rare chance to cancel your call letter because you are fixed for their recruitment holder.
    best of luck.................
