Your percentage is not bad at all. So quit being worried about jobs in PSUs. Start putting resume in order, build up your confidence to face interviews and get better marks in your 3rd year. I think you stand a good chance in any organisation whether PSUs or MNCs. The trick of getting a job is to do well in interviews. Remember 3 Idiots????

Dear friend most of the PSUs are offering job only after a national level entrance test and the percentage criteria is not more than of 60 % anywhere. You can qualify entrance with good marks, then in interview its more favourable for you that can fetch a seat. But in CV good percentage has a better impression. Try to make aggregate percentage about 70% , its really good . You can give several exams like NTPC. Best of luck

Yes, definitely.
Most of the PSUs demand 60% in btech as minimum requirement.
And preference is given to those who have high CGPA.

For psu a candidate must have score min.60% marks,as you score 67% so you can get job in psu.Remmember interviewers give more importance to your talent not to marks,marks are only seen for eligiblity.While going for interview dont feel so much nervous,give all ans.bravely.Good luck!

You do not need to worry about..if you have scored marks less than 60% then also you'll get job, you can apply any company whether govt. or private.

now a days company's are mainly looking at

the different skills like

communication skills

inter personal skills

logical skills

team leading skills

do maintain good extra corricular skills which will add up to your percentage

and i also would like to suggest try to get atleast 65 in this last year

so you'll be able to apply for all the companies which are at the top position

Yes,you can get job at PSU but you should work hard for your personality development.

Your percentage is enough for PSU exams. You should have completed your graduation from a recognized university. You could only able to attend the exam next year as you are a 3rd year student. Different PSU exams have different criteria. Generally 60 to 70% aggregate is needed for graduates. For reserved category it from 50% and above. Maximum age limit is 30. Age relaxations are there as per the government norms. You can log into HAL website to know about application method. Final year engineering candidates can also apply. Only Indians can apply.

Public Sector Universities like NTPC and ISRO certainly expect the graduates to have secured distinction (Distinction holders) in their B.tech graduation.

Most of them also expect a first class as either aggregate, or in the specialized area.

As you have a percentage of 67 in your graduation, I would not call a good/bad score, but an average one.

In such cases, one needs to give oneself other advantageous edges, so that one can stand good chances to shine oneself and appear differently in the crowd.

For the purpose you will need to be very very good at your technical knowledge, the basics and technicalities of the subject.

One also can develop one's career prospects by doing additional projects and equivalent courses/ certifications in one's specialization.

So don't lose heart, you still have good chances!!!

No, your low percentage in your Bachelors would not affect your chances of getting a job in a Public sector Unit(PSU).
There are basically two ways in which the personnel are recruited in the public sector enterprises of the country:
1)Firstly exams are conducted which can appeared by any candidate satisfying the minimum requirements.
2)Secondly sometimes sudden vacancies occur, that are advertised in the various national newspapers of the country
and you can directly apply for the vacancy if you are satisfying the minimum qualifications.And most importantly the
minimum percentage required is much below 67%.

I have secured 64% marks in btech... I will facing problems in getting jobs in psu. Though i have done my gate exam good.

It is impossible to get a job with a percentage less than 60% because all the companies require at least 60% of marks in your graduation.But still you can try for job by learning courses like C,C++,JAVA and ORACLE.After the completion of certification courses then you can prepare the best resume then you can apply for the software companies.There are many software companies like:

* HCL,
* MICROSOFT,
* ACCENTURE,
* SYNTEL,
* MPHASIS etc.

so refer the websites and newspapers for the notifications and apply for the companies and attend the selection process which consists of three stages.
