    Will I be placed in any MNC company with just 65% aggregate in B.tech from IT stream? Is it true that the Companies like Wipro,TCS and Infosys provides jobs only for the students who has minimum 70% aggregate? Suggest me how to get into top companies

    Sir, I am persuing final year Btech with IT stream, As I have 65% aggregate yet(In future that is after completing btech it will be approx 68 to 70). I heard that some reputed companies like WIPRO,TCS,INFOSYS, etc provide job only for people having more than 70%. I am interested in doing job in such a companies. so could you please give me suggestions so that i can follow and get placed. please help me sir.

    ** That is not true Companies like TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS will recruit only 70% students in their academics

    ** Eligibility criteria is vary with one company to other, it will change for every year

    **For Eg: Eligibility Criteria For Year 2011-2012 for Different companies is

    >>Eligibility for TCS is, one should have 70% plus aggregate throughout academics
    >>Eligibility for Infosys is, one should have 68% plus aggregate throughout academics
    >>Eligibility for Wipro is, one should have 60% plus aggregate throughout academics
    >>Eligibility for CTS is, one should have 60% plus aggregate throughout academics(5% relaxation on 12th or 10th)
    >>Eligibility for CAPGEMINI is, one should have 60% plus aggregate throughout academics

    ** So if you have 65% plus at the end of your Engineering then you have many chance to placed in MNCs

    **Suggestions: :

    >> Every MNC will have a different procedure for selection of students among some are common
    1.Written Test
    2.G.D(May or May not be)
    3.Technical Round
    4.H.R Round

    >> So to clear written test follows R.S Agarwall book for Aptitude and Verbal& Non Verbal Reasoning

    >> Many students will ignore to prepare for English but individual section cut off is there so prepare English too.

    >> There are some Questions on basic C, so prepare for that too

    >> Having good communication skills is an added advantage

    >> Be +ve and speak true to H.R

    >> Start prepare now itself because "Success isn't come in a day"

    the cut off is 60% for all companies.. max is 65%

    yes you can but that depends on from which college you are passed out and the placement of the college..
    that is not true. the elligibility criteria is changing year to year and company to company..

    sometimes the criteria is like
    --> 70% above throughout course and max. 4 atkt
    -->60% above throughout course and max. 4 atkt
    the criteria depends on how much employees that company wants to recruit....
    the selection process is based on three phase aptitude test,gd,interview it also changing in nature..

    the whole pattern of selection of different companies is as follow:

    im btech 3rd year im having 80% aggrigate ....there is any chance to get a job in google and microsoft companies????

    Dear friend,

    Maximum company have set the criteria is above 60% in through out.

    Eligibility criteria for WIPRO , INFOSYS ,TCS is given below:-

    For WIPRO eligibility criteria is 50% in through out. Backlog candidate are not allowed .Maximum ONE years gap are allowed.

    For INFOSYS eligibility criteria is 65% above in through out. Backlog candidate are not allowed .Maximum ONE years gap are allowed.

    For TCS eligibility criteria is 60% in through out. Backlog candidate are not allowed .Maximum TWO years gap are allowed

    So you are eligible only for WIPRO.
