See had you asked me this question before you cleared the NIIT course or even got enrolled for the course, I could have said to avoid this course. but now that already you have done this course, I would suggest you to keep your BPO job and do a distance BCA instead of B.E. You do not have a correspondence B.E. The thing that you have is diploma polytechnic engineering. This helps candidates from different genres. This will not help you. Distance BCA or bachelor in computer applications course will give you knowledge in computer science in a much better and deeper way. You will get the flavor of real programming.
In this regard I would like to mention that IGNOU has distance BCA courses. You just have to be a higher secondary degree holder for this. No separate examinations are taken for the BCA course. This is just like any other normal graduate course of time duration 3 years. To enroll log onto www.ignou.ac.in or call the Kolkata IGNOU study center at 033-2281-0964. You will have most classes held in Saturdays and Sundays. So you will not have a problem in adjusting with it.
