It is very sorry to see that you were not able to give the CPT exam in the Dec. 2011 attempt, But there is no need to worry as the next CPT attempt will be held in june 2012. And you can easily give the exam in the June attempt. I would also like to add to this that once you get registered under the ICAI for CPT examination you can give the test for 3 years that is six professional attempts of CPT, once you are not able to clear CPT in three years, you have to get registered under the ICAI.
