I dont think that this is true for all colleges. In India especially in the medical sector, there are more private colleges that public colleges. Public colleges have low fee structure even for medical courses. Private colleges may have 5 times better infrastructure and facilities, so their fee would also be naturally 5 times than that of government medical colleges. In foreign countries, there is a lot of funding/grant available from industries and corporates in the field of undergraduate and post graduate studies in addition to what government offers. This will reduce the fee structure to some extent. But I would agree that in some colleges, they are just focusing on making money compromising the quality of education. But in some institutions, this is not true, though fee structure is high, they will make sure that quality of education is given uptmost importance. So we cant make a generalized statement, it varies from college to college. In India we may need to have more participation from industry into the educational system, which could be one way of reducing fees and ensuring better quality education too

Yes, you are right, Sometimes it is hard to believe, but some of the courses are pretty expensive in India. In India educational business has become one of the most profitable business. But at the same time, many times quality of education is not given much importance. For example foreigh courses in arts and sciene subjects are pretty expensive, but they are good value for money. More than degree courses, diploma or certificate programs offered abroad are pretty much expensive. In medicine, there is drastic variation in the people in Kerala itself who will accept payments for a seat. Unless we Indian take an oath to prevent and not do any of the practices, the situation is going to improve. But in some institutions, we give a lot of emphasis to live projects and student exposure, in such case we will manage students participation in such forms.

Education level is quite better in India though we usually ignore that at times..
The expense maybe due to facilities , variation based upon funding as mentioned above..
But what I intend to remind you is that Medcl field has lots of pitfall chance abroad..
The certificates they provide at some colleges arent valid, which would make your life disastrous..
You wouldnt be able to do anything with that certificate..
Even in India there maybe such colleges since as told education has lost its old value at many times
and has become a mere business and fraud work..
so whatever course we opt first check the validity of course and the colleges..

YES that's true but not for all college in the name of education some colleges have started it as a business instead of giving education foreign colleges are not so ,they are famous because they are in state of developed nation so in India the college take the fee and also provide the facility the infrastructure the apparatus and a good sanitation ,they provide a quality of education .Though some colleges only take topper and take aquite few money because they achieve it so if a student 45% comes to a famous well named college like XYZ he will be charged more that's the reason ..........its not the corruption its we the students who say to their parents that "they want admission in that college only other wise they will not study "the parents lastly are forced and bent in front of their child's happiness and have to give a fat amount ....??If you deserve you may get if you dont then pay for it or join some other course ................!!!

I DONT AGREE THAT ALL MBA COLLEGES CHARGE 30-40 LAKHC.AS PER MY KNOWLEDGE HIGHEST IT GOES TILL 20LAKHS.BUT WHY DONT YOU GO FOR COLLEGES WHICH CHARGE LESS FEES.THERE ARE MANY GOOD COLLEGES WHO CHARGE LESS THAN 10 LAKHS SUCH AS IIPM,ISMT,IBM ETC...YOU CAN ALSO GO TO GOOD GOVT.COLLEGES THERE CHARGE IS LESS THAN 5 LAKHS.

DEAR FRIEND INDIA IS A DEVELOPING COUNTRY AND FUND GIVEN TO VARIOUS COLLEGES BY GOVERNMENT IS NOT SO MUCH THAT CAN EASE YOU REGARDING YOUR FEES BURDEN. ALSO THE COLLEGES ARE LIMITED IN PRIVATE SECTOR WHICH MAKES THEM TO FORCE THEIR OWN FEES LAWS. BUT IN THE GOVERNMENT COLLEGES THE FEES IS VERY LESS- ALMOST NO FEES IN AFMC/AIIMS/JIPMER/AMU. ALSO THE FEES IS NOT MORE THAN 50,000 PER YEAR IN OTHER GOVERNMENT MEDICAL COLLEGES.

    Dear ,
As you told it is correct but not each and every aspects of medical field, there are various conditions under which people suffer this problem ,a single reason is that indian collages needs foreign technology like various machines used in medical science these can imported from outside and there are various other regions for this but in government collages there is not more fees

it is not applicable for all the colleges ...in abroad or in India some colleges are private ,,some are govt. ,,,some are under trusts...so the fess is according to that.......on the other hand the infrastructure also matters....teaching also matters.........

    dear friend,

in india the medical colleges and lpublic schools have low fee structure.private colleges have 5 times better infastructure and facilities,so there fee are more as compare to the govt. colleges.

and in the other countries, the fund is more and grand available from industries.the field of compromising the quality of education.
in india we may need to have more paarticipation from industry into the education system.
which could be reducing fee and good quality of education.

    best of luck
