Re: Why B.Tech CSE students are ineligible for Indian Engineering Services?

    hello friend
CSE students have many opportunities outside India.
As maximum of the software companies are linked with Indian software engineers, they give the work and after the work is over that is transported to them in CDs or optical cds.
In India the work related to software is very less..
and all of them are private so there is lack of govt. job in India for software engineers..
    Thankyou.

    Marks: 200

The following branch students are Eligible:
    Civil Engineering
    Mechanical Engg.
    Electrical Engg.
    Electronics and Tele communication Engg.

If you have any engineering from above 4 branches or
    M.Sc(Electonics/Wireless Communication/Radio Physics/Radio Engineering)

    Age limits:

Your age should be between 21 to 30years.
    For SC/ST - 21 to 35years
    For OBC -21 to 33years
    For PD - 21 to 40years

    Paper-I (0bjective Type)

    Marks: 200
    Questions: 120
    Negative marking:0.30

    Paper-II (Conventional)

CSE people are not eligible IES exams because the work in the IES posts like Department of Railways, Central water, Central Engineering, Military Engineering, Department of Telecom, Indian Ordnance Factories, Geological Survey of India etc

So CSE people are totally unaware of those services. That's why they are not eligible.
