THE ADMIT CARD for the CDS(I) for which you applied in the month of December in 2011 have already been dispatched and they will be reaching you soon.

The Admit card will not will send by Registered post or Speed post.They will be send to you by simple mail.

The E-Admit cards are also available on the internet and you can check that on the official website of UPSC.

You can check your admit card if you have your Registration number or you can also check it if you forgot your registration number by Simply inserting your name and your fathers name and Date of birth.

Union Public Service Commission will be conducting Combined Defence Services Examination (I) on 12/Feb/2012, From this year Onward UPSC has introduced the facility of generating e-Admit Card (Admission Certificate) for this Examination for convenience of candidates.

So, You can download your E-Admit Card directly from the Union Public Service Commission website.

UPSC Will not send you the admit card through Registered Post or Speed Post. If you have apply for CDS Examination then please download your Admit Card soon before the examination from the official website.

To download the CDS (I) Admit Card, you have to entered your Registration ID as well as your Date of Birth and then you can easily download your Admit card.

So, please download soon and prepare well for CDS Examination because the examination will be Held soon on 12/Feb/2012. The selection is based on Written test, Personal Interview and Medical test, Those who cracked all these stages are eligible for Training in the Respective Academy selected at the time of Filling the application form.

From CDS (I) 2012 UPSC has stopped sending of ADMIT CARDS at your home.

So you have to DOWNLOAD the admit card from websitehttp://upsc.nic.in/onlineadmitcard/CDSDefault.aspx

ADMIT CARDS at UPSC website are available after 1 month of form filling last date.

My friend CDS(1) admit card has been dispatched.You will get it till 5th of February.

CDS(1) exam is on 12th February if by then you are unable to get admit card then you should go

online on http://upsc.nic.in and you can download your admit card and take a printout of

that and carry with you in exam.

Without admit card there will be no entry in exam hall.

CDS stands for Common Defense Service. UPSC conduct CDS exam for those who are interested in defense service.
The following are the eligibility for CDS:-
1.Educational qualification:- the candidate must complete their graduation from a recognized university.
2. the candidate should be an indian
Age limit:-

1. For IMA-
age should be 16.5-23 years.
Unmarried male candidates can apply1988 and not later than 1st January, 1994 only are eligible.

2. For Naval Academy:-
Age should be 126.5 years - 21 years
Unmarried male candidates can apply

3. For Air Force Academy-
AGe should be between 16.5-21 years
Unmarried male candidates can apply.

The Indian Military Academy

Through registered post or speed post UPSC You will send the letter. If you have applied for CDS exam shortly before the exam from the official website to download your entry form.
