To be registered with designation "Chartered Accountant" as a member Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) you have to pass the hurdles

Common Proficiency Test (CPT)
Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC)
Final Examination

So to start the CA course, you have to take first step by registering for CPT (Common Proficiency Test), which you can be done after the completion of your 10th standard.

But you have to take the test only after completing the 10+2 study from the respective board examination recognized by the Indian Government.

The registration for the CPT must be done on or before 1st April/1st October, so that you will be eligible to sit in the CPT conducted in the month of June/December, that is you must at least register for CPT 60 days before the examination.

Qualifying in both the CPT and 10+2 examination will give you eligibility to step up into IPCC, which you have to enroll for Group I or Group II examination to become eligible in IPCC for further process.

The duration of the IPCC is 9 months, at the same time you have to complete the 100 hrs of Information Technology training before commencement of Articled Training. On passing the IPCC Group I or II you have to completed 3 years as a Articled Assistant.

So after completion of 3 years you can apply for CA Final course, to appear for the Final examination passing which will gives you designation as "Chartered Accountant".

CPT exam is conducted twice in a year.according to students convenience they can appear in any session.as you mentioned that you are in class 12th so June session is good for you bacause you will have finished all the exams and you will have enough time to prepare for CPT.here are some important dates according to 2012 but they may change slightly-

starting date to fill application form--4 April

last date to fill application form--> 25 April

last date to receive hard copy of filled application form--30 April

CPT exam date--> 17 June

RESULT--> after one month of exam.

financial accounting

elements of business laws,

economics and statics.

You have to register for CA course after 10th class. As a first step you need to appear for CPT exam which is a foundation examination. Since you are doing 12th class, you can attend CPT after you complete this level. You can join for IPCC which is the second level after CPT. Another option would be that you can join for CA course after graduation too. If so, CPT is not compulsory. You can directly apply for IPCC. If you qualify IPCC along with article ship training you can attend final CA course. So, you can decide to do CA course according to your interest.

for registration and when you registered you can fill the form
after 10 april to 30 april

dear ,you can give exam of CA after 12th, you can register for CA After 10th standard too .

CA(Chartered Accountant) is a professional course. It has 3 level exams :
CPT(Common proficient Test)
IPCC ( Integrated Professional completion Course)
Final Exam.

You are 12th standard student so you have first give the CPT exam.
After qualifying CPT ,you are join in IPCC ,which is of 9 month course,and together you have to do Article Ship training for three 3years..

If you are graduate holder than you can directly admin in IPCC ,you have not need to give the CPT exam. This only for the Graduate holder or commerce background students.

After qualifying IPCC and Article ship training you will be eligible for the Final main Exams , final exam is last level of CA course ,if you qualify this too then you will be the complete Chartered Accountant.

You are eligible for this ,but fort complete your 12th standard and register for CPT.
