    Re: When should I appear for Civil Service exam after completing B.Tech?

    You can directly appear for Civil services examination after completing your Bachelors.
    In my opinion , you should start your preparation for the Civil services examination right from the final year
    of college as it requires considerable period of time to prepare for this exam.
    But there are also some students that start preparing for the exam after completing their college
    so that they can devote enough time to their college studies as well.

    You would need to take coaching for this purpose as you would need through guidance and mentorship
    in order to clear the examination.There are basically three stages in which this exam is conducted by
    UPSC(Union Public Service Commission):
    1)Preliminary exams
    2)Mains exams
    3)Personal interview.
