The exam will be held on three successive Sundays. The next JAIIB exam will be held on the last three Sundays of May 2012. Only ordinary members of the Institute can apply for the exam. The aspirants are allowed to appear for the examination either in Hindi or English. The test is conducted in three areas namely Principles & Practices of Banking, Accounting & Finance for Bankers, and Legal & Regulatory Aspects of Banking. Each paper consists of 120 objective type questions. The syllabus includes Indian Financial System, Marketing of Banking Services Products, Function of Banks, Accounting in Banks, Basics of Business Mathematics, Banking Technology, Bank Accounting and Balance Sheet, Computerized Accounting, Legal Aspects of Banking Operations, Regulations and Compliance, Commercial Laws with reference to Banking Operations, Banking related Laws, and Other Accounts.

The next JAIIB exam will held on 13th,20th,27th may 2012.
Last date of submitting applications is 29th february 2012
