IBPS-INSTITUTE OF BANKING PERSONAL SELECTION conducts written examination for 19 Public sector banks for recruitment of bank P.O.(Probationary Officer) as per bank's requirement.

This Second Common Written examination will be conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection for personnel for Probationary Officer/Management Trainee Posts in the 19 Public Sector Banks.

IBPS PO Details :-

Nationality :- You must be citizen of India or Subject of Bhutan or Subject of Nepal etc.

Age limits :- You must have attained the age of 20 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years as on 1st January 2012 and relaxation is exits as per government rules.

Education Qualification :- You must have finished your bachelor's degree with any desire subject from a recognized University and there is no specific percentage required for this examination.

IBPS is the one of the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection conducts the examinations every year for the selection of candidates in to different public sector banks and there are 19 banks which are participating in the recruitment criteria of the IBPS.The IBPS is the organisation which selects the candidates in to the banking sector and all these 19 banks will participate in the recruitment criteria and the all these 19 banks will conduct the common written examination through the IBPS selection criteria and the candidates who had qualified in these written examinations will be selected and issued the Score cards and depending up on the scores you will be recruited in to these Banking sectors........
The IBPS conducts the selection of the candidates in to different categories of posts such as
Clerical
PO/Management trainee
Special officer
These are the three kinds of the posts for which the recruitment is going to be conducted for.........

The clerical examination is conducted by the IBPS every year for the selection of candidates in to different public sector banks and this clerical examination is generally conducted based up on some of the eligibility criteria and also there are different examination patterns for every banking sector examination and the candidates are selected depending up on these qualifications.......

Eligibility criteria:
>>Age limit-
You must have attained the age of 18 years and should not exceed the age of 28 years
>>Educational Qualifications-
You must have completed the 10th class for appearing to this clerical examination
candidates who had completed more then that 10+2 or the graduation course of study with in the age limit can appear for the clerical examination.
>>Nationality-
Candidates who had appeared for the IBPS examination must be the citizen of India............
These are the eligibility criteria which must be followed in order to appear for the IBPS examination.....

Clerical Examination Notification:
The clerical examination of 2012 is being conducted in the months of the August and September and the next examination will be conducted in the year of 2013 in the months of August only and as the clerical examination of the 2012 is not yet conducted and after the completion of this examination and declaring of the results the next examination will be conducted........
The IBPS declares certain time for conducting different examinations in a year and it conducts according to these fixed dates......
REGARDS:

All banks will sipulate their own eligiblity ctiteria.Specified criteria is the basic criteria to applying various public sector banks.

IBPS take this exam twice in a year.
IBPS announced first notification yet in 2012 year.
one notification is pending of current year.
so there is too much time for notification in 2013.

Eligibility Criteria for IBPS Clerk Exam:

Candidate should have completed 10th standard with 60% marks in the aggregate from recognized school. Those aspirant who belongs to SC/ST/OBC/PWD are required to pass the 10th standard no restriction on percentage for them.
OR
Candidate should have completed 12th standard with 50% marks in the aggregate from recognized school. Those aspirant who belongs to SC/ST/OBC/PWD are required to pass the 12th standard no restriction on percentage for them.
