    When the NET examination will be conducted during Dec. 2011 and what are the formalities to be fulfilled to apply for the same? Also how to get the application for the same and to apply?

    Hello Friend,

    NET-National Eligibility Test.

    It was conducted by UGC Twice in a year and to apply for this examination you must have completed your Master degree course in any discipline with minimum 55% Marks, Final year Post graduate candidates are apply for this examination.

    Net exam is a very competitive exam to appear for this exam you can take coaching from best institutes.
    Because the way of teaching is different,so you can easily understood it.
    so,its better to go for the coaching classes.

    The eligibility criteria for the NET exam:

    You must be a is a post graduation in any fields.

    The percentage requirement for the NET exam is 55% aggregate in the Masters’ course .

    Age Limit:

    You should not be aged above 28 years.

    NET - National Eligibility Test

    NET is conducted during December is On: 24th Dec'2011


    NET is for admission in PhD research or university level teaching jobs!!And NET is conducted by UGC(University Grants Commission).
    NET is conducted twice in a year.
    -June
    -December

    Eligibility for NET::

    You must have PG with min.55%

    There are 2types of Posts in NET:
    1)Lectureship post(LS)
    2)Junior Research Fellowship(JRF)

    There is no upper age limit for "Lectureship post"

    You must be within 28years for "Junior Research Fellowship"(5years age relaxation for SC/ST,BC and PH Candidates)

    If you are in Final year of your PG also eligible to write NET

    Application Procedure for NET::

    ->> You have to apply online before the specific date announced by UGC.

    ->> Two print-outs of filled in online application form,exam attendance slip and admission card at the respective centers (with fee receipt and category certificates) are the documents required for applying to this exam.

    ->> This will be of 450rs/- for General and 110 rs/- for SC/ST.

    ->> You have to pay this through SBI Challan form Via Online.

    You can't apply now for December NET Exam because the submission process has finished already!!!! If you haven't applied then you have to try next time i.e on June..!!
    The last date for submission is on 25th October'2011

    NET Examination is Conducted by UGC, Twice in a year, And to apply for NET Examination you have to complete your Post graduate degree course form a recognised University.

    NET Stands for National Eligiblity Test and this examination is held two times in a year, June and December. This examination is conducted to determine eligibility for lectureship and for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), There is no Age restriction to apply for Lectureship Post, But for Junior Research Fellowship post, Your age should not be more than 28 Years, Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates.

    The June NET Examination was already completed and December NET Examination will be held on 24/Dec/2011. The Last date of apply for December NET Examination was already Over. So If you have not apply for December NET Examination, then please apply for this examination Next year.

    To apply for NET Examination, you have to complete your Post graduate degree course in any discipline with minimum 55% Marks form a recognised University. Final year graduate candidates are also eligible for NET Examination.

    The examination fees of NET was Rs 450 and you have to pay the fees through challan form in SBI Bank and then you are eligible to fill the online NET Application form.

    Those who have not scored minimum 55% marks in post graduation, may not apply for NET Examination.

    There are 3 Paper in NET Examination and all are conducted in Same day in 2 session. The first two papers was Objective and compulsory for all and the last paper was also compulsory, but the last paper was descriptive, and you have to choose the subject in NET as per your Post graduation. The syllabus and Previous year paper of NET Examination was already updated in the official website.
