• Total questions:250
• Test duration:3 hrs.
• Date of notification:Last week of November 2011.
• Mode of apply:Both Offline and Online..
• Application fees:Rs.1000/-(unreserved category)and Rs 800/-(reserved category)
• Last date of application:January 15th 2012 12.00 noon
• Issue of admit cards:By April 15th 2012.

The NEET stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).Medical Council of India (MCI) has decided to conduct the All India Level Common Entrance Examinations for admission to Medical Under Graduate (NEET-UG), Post Graduate (NEET-PG) and Super Specialty (NEET-SP) courses from the academic year 2012-2013.

You can write the exam in English and Local languages

You will be having 250 questions which is of single response type

Subject wise allocation of marks:

About NEET Examination :

NEET Stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test and it is a all India Medical Entrance Exam for admission to MBBS. To apply for this examination, you have to complete your 12Th examination, So after completing 12Th examination you are eligible for NEET Examination.

So, NEET examination is the national level common entrance examination held in India, conducted by the Medical Council of India for students of Medical Science, who wish to qualify for admission to MBBS. If you are Interested to get admission in top medical colleges then you will have to now take a common entrance exam (NEET).

Test for Post Graduate courses):

1.NEET-PG is a qualifying-cum-ranking examination for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses in medical institutions recognized for running these courses under the ambit of Post Graduate Medical Education Regulations. NEET PG will be a computer based test (CBT).

2.NEET-PG will comprise of 240 multiple choice, single correct response questions in English language only.

3.The examination shall be a multiple choice questions test delivered using computers network as per scheme prescribed.

4.Kindly note that the weightage of MCQ’s is indicative and purely provisional. NBE reserves its rights to alter /vary /amend the same.

5.Negative Marking: There shall be no negative marking in NEET-PG.

NEET PG Syllabus: The Syllabus for the test shall comprise of subjects /knowledge areas as per the Graduate Medical Education Regulations issued by Medical Council of India with prior approval of Government of India. Kindly refer to MCI website www.mciindia.org for the complete document.
