12th class pass candidates can apply for NDA exam. Minimum age limit to attend the same is 16.5 years. Higher age limit is 19 years. As per the DOB, your son can attend NDA exam this year. This exam is held twice in a year. So, one can appear for NDA either in April or August month. Along with this, it is also essential to adhere to certain medical standards in terms of height, weight, eyesight etc. On qualifying NDA written exam, physical test will also be conducted. Yes, as per your mentioned Date of Birth you son are eligible to apply for Next year NDA(I) Examination. NDA Examination is conducted by UPSC, two times in a year and this examination is only for those who are interested to make his career in Defence. This year NDA Examinations was already completed and if you are interested then you have to complete your Intermediate examination from a recognised board.

Only Unmarried male candidates between the age of 16.5 to 19 years are eligible for NDA Examination. Your age should not be more than 19 years at the time of commencement of Training.

The main aim of this examination is to select candidates in these wings namely:

-> Army wings
-> Naval wings
-> Air force wings.

If you want to apply for all the wings of NDA, Then for this you have to complete your Intermediate examination with maths and physics as a compulsory subjects.

Your son is satisfying both the age limit and the education qualification needed for the exam as the age limit needed for the NDA exam is that the candidate must have 16 1/2-19 years

The education qualification needed by a candidate to apply for the NDA Exam is that the candidate must have completed +2 with a fair percentage

The NDA Exam is conducted for candidates to join in:
