IBPS Stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection and this examination was conducted by Common written examination for recruitment of in clerical carde in 19 public Sector Banks.

To apply for this examination you must be citizen of Indian or Subject of Bhutan or Subject of Nepal.....etc.

The candidate must have a passed their Higher Secondary Level(12th) examination with any desire subject from a recognized School or equivalent qualification and the candidate must secure at least 50% aggregate marks in their examination.relaxation is given to the reserved categories OR the candidate must have a passed graduate degree with any desire subject from a recognized University or equivalent qualification.There is no Specific percentage bar required for this examination.

The candidate must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 28 years at the time of appearing for this examination and Upper age limits is given to the reserved categories.Five year relaxation for SC/ST categories and three year relaxation for OBC categories.

IBPS Clerical Syllabus :- Reasoning,English Language,Numerical ability,Computer awareness and General awareness.

Negative marks is given to the wrong answers and 0.25 marks pentalized for one question.

The notification for the clerical date is out and for the PO date is over .Which means that you can apply for the clerical post only now .

The interested candidates should have a completed their class 12th with 60%marks

Those students who have got degree in any streams can also apply for the clerical exams.

IBPS till date has not brought any notification regarding CWE-2012 for clerical cadre:-
QUALIFICATION FOR IBPS CLERK-
10th passed with 60% marks (pass for SC/ST candidates)
OR
12th with 55% marks (Pass for CS/ST candidates)
OR
Any graduation from recognised university.

AGE LIMIT-
General:: 18-28 years
SC/ST:: 18-33 years
OBC:: 18-31 years
PWD:: 18-38 years

IBPS has not yet declared the dates of the Common Written Exam for clerical grade posts. The interview selection process for the CWE held last year is going on for 19 public secto banks.
