    Coast Guard Naviks:

    >> This exam is conducted for recruitment to the post of Yantriks, Naviks (General Duty) in the Indian Coast Guard, and Armed Force

    >> This exam conducted 2 times in a year like;...
    • March/April and
    • November/December.
    >> The March/April examination is over ,the next NOTIFICATION for the released in the Newspapers/Employment News follow daily news paper;..........

    >> Admission is done zone wise: North Zone, Eastern zone, North Eastern zone, West Zone and Andaman & Nicobar zone.

    The Educational Qualifications:

    >> For Yantriks in the Pay Scale is 5200 20200 with 2400 Grade Pay and the Educational Qualification is Matriculate with three years Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics Telecommunication (Radio)(Power) Engineering .Age limit is 18 - 22 years only.

    >> For Naviks (General Duty) in the Pay Scale is 5200 20200 with 2000 Grade Pay and the Educational Qualification is 10+2 with Maths and Physics from an education board recognized by central/ state government. And the age limit is 18 - 22 years only.

    >> For Naviks (Domestic Branch (Cooks & Stewards) in the Pay Scale is 5200 20200 with 1900 Grade Pay and the Educational Qualification is 10th Pass and the Age is 18 - 22/23

    >> For all students can have the upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years of OBC.

    >> Physical Requirements:Height should be atleast 157 cm.And chest Should be 5 cm and weight is Proportionate to height and eye Sight:
    • For General Duty: 6/6 (Good eye) and 6/9 (Bad eye).
    • Domestic Branch 6/18 (Good eye) and 6/36 (Bad eye)
    NOTE: Candidates using glasses are not eligible for GD Branch.

    >> Selection Procedure is based on the mental ability test followed by a written test and an interview.
