As to be eligible to appear for the admission process of CS, candidates need to have passed 10+2 or its equivalent course. The candidates must have studies either of arts, commerce or even science. But the Fine arts students are not eligible to apply for the CS course. The candidates who are currently appearing in the +2 course final years can also seek provision for getting admission if they are sure to submit proof of passing within 6 months of joining the course. The student who wishes to join CS course must fill the application form which is available from the ICSI. Candidates are requested to make the payment for the application form and the prospectus by means of DD or PO for an amount Rs.250/-. The admission is open all round the year for the CS course. The candidates who want to join the December batch must submit an application on or before of July of that same year.

If you want to pursue the CS foundation or executive course, you have to firstly register for the course at the ICSI. Applicants can register for the tests twice a year. It is carried out in the months of July and December. As you want to apply for the December 2011 exam, you have to register for the same 8 months before the test. The eligibility criterion to apply for the test is a pass in the 10+2 exam from any disciplines. However, students who have done Fine Arts are not eligible for the CS foundation course. Those who have cleared the CS foundation course can apply for the CS executive program. Graduates in any streams can also apply for the test.

For C.S. foundation exam you should complete 12th standard...and for c.s. executive foundation you have to complete graduation...this ll be in July...you can give any one of it...

For the CS Foundation exam the candidate must be 12th passed from any stream and you can give this exam CS Executive exam Dec’ 2011 in JUne /JUly.

Qualification Criteria for the Company Secretary Foundation Course Exam

The qualification criterion to apply for the test is a pass in XII exam. Applicants should have done the eligibility exam from any school or institute recognized by the India Government. Those who are attending the final year of 10+2 the current year are also eligible for the test.
