if you have qualified UGC NET then your salary will be according to MHRD of india.if you wanna go in private engineering colleges then here are some data related to salary-

1--if you have your msc in any field of science then you will be posted as assistant prof, salary will be around 30000 /pm.you will get residence facility inside college at possible lowest cost.in a week you have to work five days but in some colleges all the six days are working days.
2-- after 2 years experience in that college you will be promoted to the post of lecturer in college.this time your salary will be around 40000 to 45000 /pm.
3-- after 5 years experience you will be further promoted as prof and you will get 50000/pm.other facility will be same as previous but your working time may be reduced and you will have to participate other works related to future plans of that particular college.
if you have phd and more tha 5 years experience the you will be HOD/DEAN and you will get more than 80000/pm. in north india you may get more than 100000/pm at the post of dean.
