During selection in Software companies they make a bond with you for working in their company for at least 2 years.
During the first year you will be under training period.
During this time you will made learn on the working process of the organization on how to use the various resources of the organizations efficiently.

"INFOSYS" WILL HAVE A TRAINING PERIOD OF 6 MONTHS.

"SASKEN" WILL HAVE A TRAINING PERIOD OF 2 MONTHS.

"ADP" WILL HAVE A TRAINING PERIOD OF 1 MONTHS.

almost every company have probation period(training period) of 6 months
it may vary from company to company like INFOSYS have 9 months of probation period, WIPRO have 6 months,etc....
this is the period where you will get the knowledge of how to do work in a company, what you have to do and how the company works
they help you to guide for what is your work in the company and how you have to do it
they pay you in this period
you need to perform well in this period otherwise you will be fired from job
so it is good that you behave sincerely and learn what your seniors tell you
