Frankly speaking there is a very little scope since there are not many vacancies in this industry and this industry is even facinga slowdown these days. So I would suggest not opt for this field until you have any sort of approach or connections.

of course there are a lot of scopes. specially , uptill 2015 there is a boom in aviation industry where there are lot of vacancies are coming. So do join the course and be ready for a good offer.

This Diploma will be awarded by IATA to those who successfully complete the Airport Strategic Management course and three other qualifying courses over a three-year period.
To successfully complete a course and receive a certificate, a candidate must achieve a passing mark of 70%on any assignment or exam, except for Security courses, where the passing mark is 80%.To achieve distinction, a candidate must obtain 90%.

who says there is no scope?? let me explain you , have you gone through the newspapers?? there are lot of recruitment going on for airport officers.. ofcourse you cant be pilot but the scope of perations are really wide.

• General science.

Paper II (200 marks) – Duration : Two hrs

• Comprehension
• Interpersonal skills including communication skills
• Logical reasoning and analytical ability
• Decision making and problem solving
• General mental ability
• Basic numeracy (numbers and their relations, orders of magnitude etc. (Class X level), Data interpretation (charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency etc. –Class X level)
• English language comprehension skills (Class X level)
• Questions relating to English Language Comprehension skills of Class X level

airport management is all about to control security, building and airfield maintenance, jetway usage, fire prevention, elevator/escalator issues etc.
The job profile is Airport Operations Supervisor or Operations Manager.
It has got very good aspects as airport authorities are demanding more manager personnels.
One can do the management course from Avalon academy which is a very reputed institute in India for airport management.

i have comleted 3years diploma after 10th grade and got an arrier in my diploma,i have a plan of entering into aviation industry as i got arrier in my diploma i could not prsue for Bsc in aviation and airport management so i found a college in calcutta where they are offering advance diploma in aviation,hospitality and travel management but the person who interviewed me told you can go for MBA in aviation and airport management after this programme i also told him that i wanna do my masters in londen so he told me not to worry he will get me a seat for masters in aviation in londen as he did his masters in londen but am worried weather isit possible to enter masters in aviation after advanced diploma in aviation.I also wanna know weather advanced diploma in aviation,hospitality and travel management is related to MBA in aviation and airport management
