You can absolutely join IAF (Indian Air Force) because you are from Science background in Inter..! So, without doubt you can write NDA..! I think you have no idea about NDA..Let me tell you about it..
NDA Stands for National Defense Academy and if you want to go for IAF then you must have to qualify in NDA exams which are conducted two times a year..!

Eligibility Criteria for IAF :

• You must have your inter with Physics,Maths,Chemistry(PCM) Background
  
• You must be an Indian
  
• Your age must be between 16.5 to 19years.
  
• You should be Unmarried.
  
• You must be PHYSICALLY FIT.
  
• You have to complete your Inter with min.50% from any recognized University of India
  
• Exact Age eligibility for NDA 2012: Students born not earlier than 2nd January, 1994 and not later than 1st July, 1996 are eligible.

Medical Standards:

Height: Minimum acceptable height: 152.5 cm

Chest: Minimum range of expansion: 5 cm

Vision: 6/36 each eye.

Correctable with spectacles: at least 6/9 each eye.

Diopteric power: not exceeding +3.5

Training: Initial Joint Basic Phase Training(JBPT) will be provided at Airmen Training School, Belgaum(Karnataka) for 12 weeks. After it Trade Training will be provided.

Stipend:
You will get Rs.5700 pm during training!!
Once if you clear all the exams in the NDA then you get a job under the government of India.
After a training of one year after selection you get the permanent job.

Date of Notification: 31st Dec'2011
Last date for submitting application:30th Jan'2012
Date of Exam:15th April'2012

NDA II exam Details:
