    What are the various posts in banks for a B.Tech graduate? Can anyone tell the details about Pay scales for them?

    FRIEND,

    There are a lot of Posts in banks for the B.TECH GRADUATE and this posts are given to a candidate after getting selected in the IBPS examination called CWE and those posts are:

    THE POSTS FOR WHICH THE EXAM IS CONDUCTED ARE:



    The Pay scale for the above posts is good and it is around Rs 20,000 to 35,000 initially.

    THE DATES OF THE EXAM ARE:


    • DATE OF EXAMINATION FOR SPECIALIST OFFICER :: 11 March 2012.
    • DATE OF APPLYING ONLINE:: 30 DEC,2011 -- 20 JAN 2012.
    • LAST DATE OF SUBMITTING THE APPLICATION FORM: 29 JAN,2012.

    For b tech students are are certain post like
    1. Probationary officer
    2. specialist officer
    3. Technical posts
    4. post only for mechanical post

    The salary of these posts are 13000 to 18000 rs


    The exam pattern for the bank exam is - This is for CLerk Post , you need to go for a written test
    in this exam there are objective type of question from 5 subjects-

    1- Maths
    2- english
    3- General awarness
    4- Reasoning
    5- computer

    Here total marks are 250 and you need to get 40% marks overall for qualified. and you need to appear in final round interview.

    Some criterion are required like--

    (1) you should be pass with 60% marks in 10th Class. and SC /ST should be just pass.
    (OR)

    (2)should be qualified with 50% marks in Intermediate (10+2)

    (3)Must Degree in any discipline from a University or any equivalent.

    Age condition: The minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum 28 years required in IBPS

    In banks a B.tech student can apply for PO & Specialist officer like Technical officer
    Eligibility for PO;-
    1.GRADUATE FROM A RECOGNIZED UNIVERSITY WITH AT LEAST 60%(55% IN CASE OF SC/ST/OBC)
    2.AGE MUST BE BETWEEN 21 YEARS TO 30 YEARS
    3.AGE RELAXATION IN CASE OF SC/ST UP TO 5 YEARS,IN CASE OF OBC UP TO 3 YEARS
    4.COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE IS IMPORTANT
    5.ENGLISH SHOULD BE KNOWN

    ELIGIBILITY FOR TECHNICAL OFFICER:-
    1.DEGREE IN ENGINEERING IN CIVIL/MECHANICAL/ELECTRONICS/ELECTRONICS & TELECOMMUNICATION/PRODUCTION/TEXTILE/B.PHARMA/COMPUTER APPLICATION/COMPUTER SCIENCE/INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ETC.
    2.AGE MUST BE BETWEEN 20 YEARS TO 35 YEARS.
    3.AGE RELAXATION IS SAME AS PO
    ELIGIBILITY FOR IT OFFICER:-
    1.DEGREE IN COMPUTER APPLICATION/COMPUTER SCIENCE/ELECTRONICS/ELECTRONICS & TELECOMMUNICATION/ELECTRONICS & COMMUNICATION OR POST GRADUATE IN THESE SUBJECTS
    2.AGE MINIMUM 20 YEARS & MAXIMUM 35 YEARS.
    3.AGE RELAXATION IS SAME AS TECHNICAL OFFICER

    PO SALARY IS LESS IN COMPARISON TO SPECIALIST OFFICER.
    PO salary will be around 25000 to 30000 p.m.
    Specialist officer salary will be around Rs 30000 to 35000 p.m.

    Hi Friend ,

    You would be eligible for the examination if you have completed your Graduation,CWE (Common Written Examination ) is an Bank Exam which is conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) for 19 public banks except for the SBI and its associates banks.But you can not apply for this year common bank exam because its examination dates has been over .The last date to fill the examination form was 3 august so you can apply now .You have to wait for the nest year to appear for the examination .

    Eligibility for the examination ::

    Your age should be minimum 20 years and not more then 30 years.There is some relaxation given to reserved caste students in upper age limit .For SC/ST its a 5 years and for OBC its a 3 years .
    You must have a degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

    Pattern of the examination ::There will be written test which will be objective as well as subjective .The objective question papers will be based on ::

    Reasoning
    English Language
    Quantitative Aptitude
    General Awareness
    Computer Knowledge

    Only those who will qualify the objective exam their Descriptive Paper exams marks will be calculated .


    You can apply for the Two Posts Clerkical or PO/MT for which the Exam is conducted .
