Re: What type of books should I prefer for attempting IPS and IAS exams?

IAS & IPSexams are one of the prestigious exams which require 10-12 hours of study and lots of hard
work. You will have to have the thorogh knowledge of each suject. Any leading book publisher in your area should be having the relevant books and study material required for preparing for the Civil Services. Further, it is the main text books of your Optional that are the most important for studying for the optional papers. If you still find it difficult to have adequate study material, try the option of enrolling for coaching through correspondence from some reputed Coaching Centers such as Brilliants. You must read daily newspapers, magazines
like India Today,Sparda, Pratiyogita darpan etc. However, do keep in mind that there is no substitute for a planned, systemic preparation spanning 1-2 years for this prestigious exam.
