NET Stands for National Eligibility test and this examination is Conducted by UGC, Twice in a year and the examination is Conducted in June and December every Year. For this year June NET Examination Notification will be published soon in the official website. The Notification will be Published soon in next month, When the notification will be declared it will be published in the official website. Eligible candidates may fill the application form Online Only.

To apply for this examination, you have to complete your Post graduate degree course from a recognised University, but you have to scored minimum 55% marks in your post graduation, only then you can apply for NET Examination.

Eligible candidates may apply for Lectureship post OR Junior Research Fellowship Post, There is no upper age restriction to apply for Lectureship Post, but for Junior Research Fellowship post, your age should not be more than 28 years, upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates. But your age should be more than 19 years.

This year NET Examination pattern was changed and from now, all the Papers of NET is Objective type and there are 3 papers in NET Examination and all are Objective, No descriptive paper will be there, And no negative marking in the examination.

So, Please prepared for NET Examination as per the syllabus and Pattern, The Notification was going to be declared soon. If your Post graduate degree was complete then you can apply for this year examination.

SYLLABUS FOR UGC NET EXAM

NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conduct twice time in year by UGC.This test conduct for lectureship , PHD and JRF .

Those candidate have completed masters degree from recognized university are eligible for NET exam but their is also some marks criteria.

For general and OBC candidate must be hold 55% above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate must be hold 50% above in masters degree.

Hi............. Friend.

UGC ( Union Grant Commission) conducts NET ( National Eligibility Test) for post graduate students who wish to go for Either Lecturership post or JRF ( junior research fellowship) post.

UGC conducts NET examination for every in two times in the month of June and December.
The notifications about examination will available on UGC official website before two months of examination date.

The notification for June examination is available in march
and for December in the month of October.

The December 2012 examination notifications are soon available on its official website in the month of October .

The willing candidates must have to score 55% in post graduation course,otherwise you are not eligible for this.
5% are relaxation provided for obc,sc/st candidates.

Age limit:
for applying NET examination your age must be more than 19 years not less than it.
For JRF post: 19 years to maximum 28 years.

For lecterur post : no upper age is specified.

Application form fees:
for general Rs 450 only
for obc Rs 250 only.
For sc/st RS 110 only.
You have to apply on line for NET registration.

For syllabus:
you have to prepare you post graduation subject.
And general awareness .

The paper pattern in totally objective ,
now in Net examination only objective question are asked.
There is no negative marking.
