    In IBPS there will be 5 subjects for po as well as for clerk
    1.REASONING
    2.APTITUDE
    3.ENGLISH
    4.GENERAL AWARENESS
    5.COMPUTER AWARENESS
    The only different is the level of difficulty.There will also be negative marking,for every wrong answer 1/4th marks will be deleted.
    A candidate need to score 50% or above in each subjects for qualify in interview

    Eligibility Criteria :




    For Indian Police Service ,you must be citizen of India.

    Age limits :

    You must have attained the age of 21 Yrs and must not Attained the age of 30 Yrs on 1st August,2012.

    The Upper age limit will be Applicable for SC/ST and OBC candidates.

    Upto a maximum Five Years for Scheduled caste and Scheduled tribes.

    Upto a Maximum three years for Other Backward Classes.


    Education Qualification :

    You must hold a Bachelor's degree of any Recognized University.

    If you are in the final year of a degree course can also Eligible.

    Number of Attempts :

    Four Attempts for Open.

    Seven Attempts for OBC category.

    No Limit for SC/ST.

    Physical Fitness Is very Important for IPS Exam.

    Male 165 Cm Pahari Male (General also) & ST (Not SC/OBC) - 160 Cm.

    Female 150 Cm Pahari female (General also) & ST (Not SC/OBC) - 145 Cm.

    To become an IPS Officer you have to clear the CIVIL SERVICES exam which is conducted by UPSC for the graduate students ever year.

    You can also become IAS,IFS,IRS etc through this exam and you must get upto 280 rank after interview to get IPS post.

    The exam is conducted in the month of May and then Mains will be conducted in the month of September and then one interview will be conducted.

    APPLICATION FORM: Filling the application form can be done online or Offline.The Application form is free for reserved categories.The Cost of Application form is Rs 100/ only.

    IPS stands for Indian Police Services and to become IPS officer you have to apply for the UPSC Civil services examination. This Examination is conducted every year by the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment to various services like the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service and Indian Police Service, as well as Group A and Group B Central Services. To apply for this examination you have to complete your Graduate degree course in any discipline from a recognized University.

    The examination is Conducted in 2 stages:
    ~~ Preliminary examination
    ~~ Main examination

    Firstly, you have to apply for the Preliminary examination, This examination is Objective and there are 2 papers in this examination and both are conducted in same day. Those who cracked the Preliminary examination are eligible to apply for Main examination.

    Main examination is Consist of 9 papers and you have to choose the subjects in main examination on the basis of Graduation. The Question Papers III to IX will be set both in Hindi and English.

    So, Please prepared well for the preliminary examination first, only then you will be able to appeared for Main examination for Final selection.

    For IPS, You have to fulfill the medical examination also, if you cracked the medical examination then you will become IPS Officer.

    ~~ Ear- good listening & normal ear cavity. 1000 to 4000 frequency hearing impairment shd not be more than 30 decibels.

    IPS: Indian Police Service , This is one of the most regarded one among all the Indian Civil Services. This job has highest charishma in public. and most challenging one too.

    Selecting this as your aim is a very good decision.
    Along with attraction you should have deep fascination to get the job in Indian Police Service.

    There are three levels of exams in this examination pattern.

    4.chemistry
    5.civil engineering
    6.commerce.
