    Re: What is the syllabus for GATE 2013 exam?

    GATE - Graduate Aptitude Test of Engineering is conducted by various IIT's every year once. It's an entrance exam to get admission into top engineering colleges like NIT, IIT etc

    You haven't mentioned your area of stream in B.Tech, so its difficult to say syllabus of GATE exam. As there are so many streams in engineering like;

    So, can't give syllabus of GATE without saying your specified branch.

    But, you can get the syllabus here (any stream)

    Eligibility for GATE 2013 is :

    You should be a Bachelor degree holder in Engineering OR Technology OR Architecture (4 years after 10+2) and even if you are in the final year can also write GATE.

    You should be a Master degree holder in any branch of Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Applications or equivalent and even if you are in the final year of such programmes.

    If you are in the second or higher year of the Four-year Integrated Master degree programme (Post-B.Sc.) in Engineering/ Technology or in the third or higher year of Five-year Integrated Master degree programme and Dual Degree programme in Engineering/ Technology.

    Second and third year MCA students are also eligible for GATE

    First and Second year MSc students are also eligible for GATE

    GATE 2013 exam pattern:

    Exam dates of GATE 2013:

    The exam (GATE) will be conducted in two modes
    online mode
    offline mode
