    Career as a company secretaryis Not only prestigious and financially rewarding but also carrier with it a high level of job satisfaction.

    The student who would like to join the course after 10+2 has to undergo three stages to pursue the company secretaries course.

    1) FOUNDATION PROGRAM.
    2) EXECUTIVE PROGRAM.
    3) PROFESSIONAL PROGRAM.

    In addition, the student has to undergo practical training for about 15 months which a student may opt to start after passing the executive program.

    1) Foundation program:

    which is eight months duration can be pursued by 10+2 pass student of Art, Science, Commerce stream.

    2) Executive Program:

    Executive Program can be pursued by a graduation of all stream except Fine Arts.

    3)Professional Program:

    Professional Program can be pursued only after clearing the executive program of C.S Course training: A student has to undergo 15 months training in companies sponsored by the institution after passing the executive or professional program or under the guideline of the company secretary in practice.

    SYLLABUS FOR FOUNDATION EXAMINATION


    PAPER I : ENGLISH AND BUSINESS COMMUNICATION.


    (A) English ( 40 Marks).
    (B) Business Communication ( 60 Marks).

    PAPER II : BASIC ECONOMICS AND BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT

    (A) Basic Economics ( 70 Marks).
    (B) Business Environment ( 30 Marks).

    PAPER III : FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING.

    PAPER IV : ELEMENTS OF BUSINESS LAWS AND MANAGEMENT.

    (A) Elements of Business laws ( 50 Marks).
    (B) Elements of Management ( 50 Marks).

    PAPER V : INFORMATION SYSTEM AND QUANTITATIVE TECHNIQUES

    (A) Information Systems ( 50 Marks).
    (B) Quantitative Techniques ( 50 Marks).

    • Foundation Programme
    • Executive Programme
    • Professional Programme

    Hii..Here am providing you complete details of cs course.
    CS course is divided into 3 parts

    * Foundation Programme
    * Executive Programme
    * Professional Programme


    Exam are held twice a year in mid June and in mid December.

    Last date for applying is:
    31st march for appearing in december exam in the same year
    30september for appearing in june exam in the next year

    I'm attaching a file which will help you in having a detail look of the syllabus. For instance

    Foundation Programme comprise of 4 papers

    * English and Business Communication
    * Economics and Statistics
    * Financial Accounting
    * Elements of Business Laws and Management

    Executive Programme is divided into 2 modules having 3 papers in each
    Module I

    * General and Commercial Laws
    * Company Accounts, Cost and Management Accounting
    * Tax Laws

    Module II

    * Company Law
    * Economic and Labour Laws
    * Securities Laws and Compliances

    Professional Programme is divided into 4 modules having 2 papers each

    Company Secretary is one of prestigious course with a high level of job satisfactions.To become company secretary you have to take three courses after class 12th and these are ::

    If you want to join this courses after your graduation then you have to undergo two courses which are :

    Professional Programme

    Eligibility for all the courses ::

    Foundation Programme ::Its of 8 month duration for 10+2 passed students in any streams .

    Executive Programme ::You must have passed your graduation in science or commerce streams .Arts students are not allowed to take executive program.

    Professional Programme ::You must have passed Executive Programme.

    Eligibility for foundation course is 10+2 in any branch science commerce or arts.
    For prospectus and application form 200RS / 250rs(via post)
    DD should be in favor of "the institute of company secretaries in India" payable at New Delhi.

    New Syllabus for CS

    CS course has three stages:

    1.Foundation programme
    2.Executive programme
    3.Professional programme

    In Foundation programme there is

    1.English and Business Communication
    2.Economics and Statistics
    3.Financial Accounting
    4.Elements of Business Laws and Management

    In executive programme there is

    Module I

    1.General and Commercial Laws
    2.Company Accounts, Cost and Management Accounting
    3.Tax Laws

    Module II

    1.Company Law
    2.Economic and Labour Laws
    3.Securities Laws and Compliances

    In professional ( final ) programme there is

    Module I

    1.Company Secretarial Practice
    2.Drafting, Appearances and Pleadings

    Module II

    1.Financial, Treasury and Forex Management
    2.Corporate Restructuring and Insolvency

    Module III

    1.Strategic Management, Alliances and International Trade
    2.Advanced Tax Laws and Practice

    Module IV

    Candidate will be declared to have passed the foundation programme when score min 40% in each paper and min 50% as aggregate of all papers.( in one sitting)

    Same criteria for executive programme and professional programme also to be declared pass to professional programme.
