    For being a pilot you should follow some criteria:
    1: you have to pass 10+2/equivalent with 50% marks in Physics and Maths.
    2:you have completed 17 years of age.
    3: The first step in Pilot training is acquiring of Student Pilot Licence (SPL).
    4:then you should start flight training to get Private Pilot Licence (PPL).
    5: Then theoretical examination's have to be passed in subjects like Navigation, Aviation Meteorology, Aircraft and Engines etc...

    Hi..,

    After your B.Tech Degree (if you choose B.E as your Graduation.):

    1.CDSE i.e Combined Defense Service Exam To join Indian Air force then You need to have Physics Or maths as a subject in your Graduation and which you posses.

    2. Flying (Pilot) Short Service Commission (For Men & women), Both men and women are eligible to apply for short service commission in the flying branch. ” Short Service Commission in Flying branch is for 14 years with no further extension.


    After 12th:

    NDA i.e National Defense Academy , age should be 16-1/2 to 19 years of Age. As you are Girl then you can't apply for this. You better go for graduation then apply for the below named Entries.

    I have completed my flying course from Melbourne, Australia.
    I am in the process of acquiring my Indian CPL.
    Currently, i am also studying B.Sc. in Aviation from Bombay university.
    My age is 23 and i will graduate next year.
    Is it possible for me to get into the IAF for Short commission?
