    IAS stands for Indian administration service .this comes under civil services .

    this exam is conducted by UPSC once in a year.

    to become an IAS officer there are several steps for you that are :-
    ]
    you have to apply for application form and to be eligible for the form :-

    you must be a Indian .

    you must have done your graduation with any stream from well recongnised college .

    your age must be within 21 to 30 years .age relaxation is given to the sc/st &candidates upto 3 to 5 years .

    after this you have to give the exam which is taken in three stages :-

    1st stage :-
    you will have to apply for prelims and if you succeed there you enter to next stage .
    2nd stage :-after succeeding in prelims you enter mains and if you succeed there then you go in next stage .

    3rd stage :-next stage is personal interview you will enter in this by succeeding in mains .

    no. of attempts :-

    for general :- 4 times .

    for sc/st :- no limits .

    for obc :- 7 times .

    IAS exam is conducted by UPSC through Civil Service Exam so if you want to go for IAS exam , you can attend to CSAT exam.

    Those candidate are completed graduation degree from any recognized university with any discipline are eligible for IAS exam.

    But your age should be in between 22 to 30 years old.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule.


    The maximum attempts for SC/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.


    Also you must be in citizen in India.


    The IAS selection process is consist in three way

    1. Preliminary exam
    2. Main exam
    3. Inter View.
    Preliminary Examination consists of Two Papers-
    • Paper I — General Studies 150 marks
    • Paper II — An Optional subject 300 marks.

    Basic requirements for appearing Indian Civil Services Exams are a degree of any university; candidates who have appeared in the final exams can also appear in the preliminary Exams, but for the main exam the results of previous qualifying examination is essential. The candidates appearing for the main examination should also produce an application of qualifying the preliminary examination.

    Age limit : 21 to 30 year.3 year relaxation for OBC and 5 year for SC/ST/PH

    Education qualification : At least one bachelor degree

    Syllabus:

    Part two being the Main examination has a tougher syllabus and subjects. Some subjects are repeated, but the syllabus varies year by year.     Some tips for become IAS:-

    you should

    1. Read newspaper daily
    2. read news magazines if possible
    3. Make notes of your ncert books from class 6th to class 10th for
    all subjects geo for class 11th and class 12th as well history
    of class 11th atleast.
    4. read GK books.
    5. watching channels like discovery helps a lot in the long run.
    try to understand things, and work hard is the only mantra for
    success in IAS.

    Then you have to appear for the exam.

    Exam pattern:-

    1) The first is a screening exam full of multiple choice.

    2) If you get selected You can attend the mains

    3) Then you will be called for interview.

    4) The marks of the main and interview are considered for the FINAL rank list.

    5) Those who are included in the FIRST 100 get IAS.

    you have to appear for two exam
    First PRELIMINARY EXAM
    And second MAIN EXAM

    In preliminary exam you have to choose one subject of your choice and after that in this exam G.K. , ENGLISH and A INDIAN LANGUAGE.

    After this in main exam you have to choose two subject of your choice.You can keep that subject of preliminary exam.

    After completing these two exams you will call to interview .

    IAS stands for Indian Administrative services and the exam is conducted by UPSC, every year and to apply for this examination you have to complete your Graduate degree course in any discipline from a recognised university. Final year appearing candidates are also eligible for this examination. To become IAS officer is not a easy process you have to work hard for that and firstly cracked the Preliminary examination, it is also called Civil services aptitude test(CSAT). If you will be able to cracked this examination then you will be eligible to appear for Main examination.

    So, if you have completed your Graduate degree course then you are eligible to apply for Civil services examination. This examination is conducted in May(Preliminary) and October(Mains).

    Those who cracked the main examination are eligible for Interview.

    The examination is Objective and you have to appear for two papers, both are conducted in same day. Preliminary examination is compulsory for all the candidates. If you cracked this one then you are eligible to apply for main examination and you have to choose the subjects for Main examination on the basis of your Graduation.

    Please start preparing well for this examination as per the pattern and syllabus,, only then you will be able to cracked this examination.

    INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES Exam is conducted By UPSC twice in a year.

    UPSC conducts Civil Services entrance exam for IAS .

    Indian Administrative Service or IAS conducts every year, there is 3 level exam:

    Preliminary exams

    Main exams and

    Interview.

    Elligibility :

    Candidate must have graduate in any stream from recognized university.

    Candidate age must be between 21 to 30 years.

    Candidate must have citizenship of India.

    Candidate must be physically fit.

    No. Of attempts:

    General : 4
    ObC: 7
    SC or ST: no limit.

    To become IAS you have to do hard work ,because it is tough exams.

    The first step is that you will have to fill the application form of IAS ( Civil Services Examination )

    The application form is available on UPSC official website .
    UPSC every year conducts the examination of IAS .
    The Examination notification were published in Newspaper or website of UPSC.

    The candidates must have completd graduation to write the IAS examination .
    Any stream of candidates are eligible for IAS examination .

    Age : 21 years to 30 years.

    Civil Services exam held in following steps :
    CSAT exam
    Mains exam
    Interview exam.
