You can not appear for the NDA Examination after passing your bachelor degree as there are some fixed eligibility criteria for appearing to the National Defense Academy,the candidates who had completed only 12th with in the age limit only can appear for the NDA examination....

For appearing in NDA exam you will have to fulfill the below criteris provided.

The basic details are as follows:-

>>If your age is between 16.5 years to 19 years then you can appear for this exam.
>>You must have passed your 10+2 exam having science stream with good percentage of marks.
>>Your necessary subjects in class 10+2 should be Physics and Mathematics.
>>Your percentage of marks is very low,however if you comes under the reserved category then you will able to get appear in this exam.
>>The minimum percentage of marks that will be required by you in 10+2 level will be 60% in overall subjects.

The exam notification related to this exam comes twice in a year.
This basically comes in the month of march and September.
The exam of it is conducted in the month of July and December.

The exam is conducted on the same day in two phases.

1.NDA stands for national defence academy and the eligibility criteria are as follows:

---> you must be unmarried male Indian.

----> you must have passed your 10+2 with physics ,chemistry and mathematics.

after doing your BCA (bachelor of computer applications) ,your age must be more than 19 years that is the main reason due to which you will not be able to get job in NDA


however if you are interested in army ,then you can go for CDS (combined defence services).

if you have done your 12th class from maths and physics subjects then you are eligible for NDA exam.

NDA Stands for National Defence Academy Examination and this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year as called as NDA I and NDA II . In this examination will be held in the month of April and August . The application forms are available in the Online mode and there is no offline mode applications .

To apply for this examination , you have not attained more than 19 years and not have less than the age of 16.5 years and Unmarried male candidate born not earlier than 2nd July 1994 and not later than 1st January , 1997 are eligible . There is no upper age limits . If you are age is crossed 19 years then you are not eligible to apply for this examination .

NDA Exam Pattern ::



According to you qualification , you are eligible to apply for Combined Defence Service Examination and this examination is conducted twice in a year for recruitment of Military Academy , Naval Academy , Air force Academy and Officer Training Academy .

You cannot join in NDA exam after BCA as you are not satisfying the education qualification neither the age limit as you have exceeeded the limits.

So it is better that you wite the CDS exam

there are criteira's which are to be followed in order to apply and they are:

> Nationality
> Martial Status
> Age Limit
> Education Qualification
> Physical Standard

For Indian Military Academy and Officers Training Academy:

Candidate should have completed Graduation in any discipline form a recognized University.

For Indian Naval Academy:

Candidate should have completed Engineering degree.

For Air Force Academy:

Candidate should have completed a Degree from recognized university with Physics and Mathematics as subjects

If you really want to join Defence Academy then you should Join CDS (Combines Defence Academy)

CDS has four Academy wings:

Indian Military Academy(IMA)

Indian Naval Academy

Indian Airforce Academy

Officer training Academy (OTA)

The Elligibity Required for CDS:

*Candidate should be Graduate from recognized university .

For Naval and Airforce out must have graduate in Science subjects. Maths Physics Compulsory.

For OTa and IMA you you need graduation in any stream.

* Candidates should be Indian Citizen .

* Age:

IMA : 19 years to 24 years.

For Naval : 19 to 22 years

for Airforce: 19 to 23 years
