    hi mam,
    very good afternoon to you.
    If you want to become a CID officer first you have the zeal to do that job and then you can apt for.since CID criminal Investigation Department is a special wing in every state police,you have got to join the police department to be considered eligible for CID.Now since you are a under graduate you may apply for the post of sub-inspector by writing state level examination or you may write civil service examination conducted by Union Public Service Comission (UPSC) to join the police department as an ACP/ASP. For the civil service examination the age limit is between 21-30 years with relaxation in the maximum age limit for reserved category and as far as the age limit for the position of Sub-inspector is concerned, it is usually between 21-27 years of age but it may vary according to the state conducting the examination.For further details if you want to know you may visit the
    site :: www.upsc.gov.in

    All the best for you
    Good Luck with best regards

    dear student,
    for getting into CID department you must be first recruited in police department so that you are eligible for CRIME INVESTIGATION
    DEPARTMENT. After getting into police you can write state level exams you can be a ACP or some other ranks.other altenative is
    that you give civil services exams and go to CID as specified in rule books.so all the best for future.
