    Hello Friend ,

    Firstly , let me tell you that clearing 10+2 will not lead you to apply for IPS exam which is conducted by UPSC every year .

    So here are the eligibility that you must posse in order to apply for IPS exam :these are as folows :

    * * YOU NEED TO BE GRADUATE IN ANY DISCIPLINE FROM RECOGNIZED UNIVERSITY

    * * YOUR AGE MUST BE 21 - 30 YEARS ( GENERAL CATEGORY ) , FOR SC/ST : 21- 35 YEARS , FOR OBC : 21 - 33 YEARS .

    * * YOU MUST BE PHYSICALLY FIT

    * * ATTEMPTS WILL BE LIMITED FOR CERTAIN CATEGORIES AND THESES ARE :

    FOR GENERAL : 4 ATTEMPTS

    FOR SC/ST : NO LIMITS

    FOR OBC : 7 ATTEMPTS

    SELECTION PROCEDURE ( THREE STAGES)

    > > PRELIM

    > > MAINS

    > > INTERVIEW

    Clearing all the three stage will give you an opportunity to do training and then finally after training you will get a job ...

    GOOD LUCK !
