    Hi dear student,

    Education Qualification:
    To be eligible for becoming an IPS officer the candidate must posses a degree from an Indian University or an equivalent qualification. Those in the final year degree course can also appear in the Preliminary Examination taken every year by UPSC.

    Age:
    The candidate must have attained the age of 21 years on 1st august of the year of examination and must not have attained 30 years of age on that date.
    The upper age limit will be relaxed by 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/St candidates.
    The upper age limit is also relaxed in favor of Defense Services Personnel.

    Because, minimum educational qualification for IPS is any bachelor of degree

    so friend, first you can complete your graduation successfully then taken to step forward for become a IPS officer

    Dear Friend,
    The INDIAN PUBLIC SERVICE conducted exams to become IPS officers and it has also some educational qualification are as:-

    1)You should have a degree from recognized university.

    2)That means you have to take admission to degree courses after 10+2 higher secondary courses as according to your preferred subject.

    3)And after getting degree you have the permit to appear and get posted for the IPS officer.

    Dear Friend,

    To become an IPS in future you have to graduate at first with any stream from a recognized university.After that you have to appear and score a good results in civil services examination which is being conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) once in a year.Your age must be within 21 to 30 years at the time of application for IPS examination.You can also apply when you will be in the final year of graduation.

    dear you must do 10+2 with any stream but you must have a degree from any recognized university,
    your height must be 150 cms if you are belong to general category.
    if you belong to sc/st castes you must have 160 cms for male and 145 cms for female.
    chest must be expanded to 5 cms.
    your eyesight must be 6/12 or 6/29 distant vision for worse eyes and 6/6 or 6/9 for good eye vision.
    UPSC details
    you may know that the recruitment process of civil services exam conducted by the union public service examination is called the CSAT or the civil service aptitude test.
    the civil service examination consists of two types
    civil services preliminary examination =this exam is conducted for the selection for main examination.
    civil services main examination consists of both objective carries 200 marks each paper totally 400 marks.
    age requirement
    • your age must be 21 years of age on 1st of august.
    • you must have 21-30 years of age to be qualified,

    I am Sorry to say that you are not eligible for the IPS Officer after completing 10th.

    You need to pass the Graduation to become IPS officer.

    Eligibility:

    First you should have indian citizen ship.

    Then you must complete the Graduation from any recognised university.

    Final year pursuing candidates are also eligible.

    Your age limit should be between 21 to 30 years.

    Upper age relaxation is applicable. 3 years relaxation for the Obc and 5 years for sc/st.

    Both male and female candidates are eligible.

    IPS Entrance Exam :

    Indian Police Service entrance exam is conducted by the union public service commission under the civil services examination every year once.

    So, if you want become a IPS officer, then the selection procedure is based on the preliminary examination and main examination and personality/interviews conducted by the UPSC. For attending the IPS officer entrance exams required requirements are given bellow:

    Required Requirements :

    Required educational qualifications are you must completed the GRADUATION from recognized university and here not required any percentage.

    Age limit:-

    For Open category:- 21-30 year

    For OBC category:- 21-33 YEAR

    For ST/SC category:- 21-37 year

    After qualifying this exam you can be-SP,DSP,SSP,DGP etc.
    The eligibility is a graduate degree in any discipline.
    UPSC exam pattern for IPS:-

    Firstly, the Preliminary examinations. There are two papers:-

    Some optional subject

    After passing this exam you will get you into the next round of the “main exam”.
