It is absolutely not true that only boys will get selected for the civil engineering courses. Girls also have equal opportunities for joining the Civil engineering course. You can join for the M.Tech course in civil engineering if you are interested. You need to attend the written examination as part of this. You need to attend the GATE exam for applying for the M.tech course. You can also join for MBA after engineering graduation. Both the streams have equal scope. MBA will help you to get in to the management field. Where as an M.Tech will help you to get a job in the technical field itself. Hence you choose the course according to your level of interest.

I am 3rd year civil engineering student. Oflate the companies that approached our college gave preference to boys rather than the girls.............that put me in a great dilemma if companies prefer only boys in civil engineering department then what should the girls do?
