    SCOPE OF PRINT MEDIA:-
    A Career in Print Media gives you an opportunity to work on various positions like:-
    -Freelance Journalist:freelance journalist is a person who is salaried as per the contribution of the articles he/she writes.
    -Editors:editors are the people who design the layout of the matter before the final publishing of the news.
    -Sub Editors:A person that adds the final touches to the articles or the news given by the reporters is known as sub-editors.

    Hi,

    Print media is the oldest form of media.But even today it is growing from strength to strength.It is a growing sector where employment opportunities ar eincreasing.Most of teh aspirants who want to enter the print media prefer reporting,but newspapers and magazines also seek young talent as photographers,artist,editors,computer experts,librarians and cartoonists.

    The areas to work are:

    >Editing
    >Reporting
    >Freelancing
    >Writing Column A
    >Writing Comments
    >Drawing Cartoon A
    >Working as an Artist
    >Photojournalism

    Remuneration:

    The minimum salary as per governments directives has to be 5500 to 9000 for reporters and senior reporters.

    For chief Reporters and Sub editors:5000 to 10,500

    For editors 7500 to 12000

    Entry level salaries will range between 8000 to 12000

    Experienced Journalists get from 20000 to 25000

    Senior journalists earn over 1 lakh per month.
