Though there is a mad rush for engineering and medicine, M Sc does not seem to have lost its charm in the job market. M Sc graduates do find employment opportunities in private and public sector industries and academic schools. Higher education and research opportunities do exist on a global level. With mad rush for engineering and medicine and institutions imparting such education mushrooming, the sector is likely to be saturated at least in our country in the coming future. Saturation if existing for M Sc graduates will pave way through retirements

    Hello,
You just needed to mention the genre that you have done your M.Sc. in. But nevertheless, M.Sc. people have a lot to contribute and have huge chances both in corporate world and in academic world. The only domain that an M.Sc. person cannot contribute in is the business world. Only that part is totally unknown for M.Sc. people and it is the domain for M.Com or MBA or BBA people. One more thing is that in the corporate world also one genre that is less applicable or less appreciable is M.Sc. in Computer Science. It is not a well approved genre by corporate sectors and instead MCA, BCA, and B.SC. in computer science people are more approved of. So if you are from the rest of the M.Sc. domains then you can apply for technical and HR jobs in corporate sectors and for lectureship jobs in colleges or school teaching jobs(government or private) or research works. Now it is your turn to decide the genre you want to go in.
