    hello,
    employers value the wide range computer research and analtical skills a geographic student can do bringing to the market.whle searching for a job just refere the key skill and imporatnt points tht a geographer can do .They may not be many jobs for the geographer in the market but if you are perfect wit the key skills then everything is possible.
    to get a job the first thing is you need to be sure inj some particular part of ur subject and the first impression is to make the resume soo nicely tht it sholud become a first impression for you job.
    and make a world experience in the area you are applying for like
    1.urban planner / community developer
    2.cartographer
    3.gis specialist
    4.climatetography
    5.transportation management
    and etc
