The recent recession and economic downfall forced this sector to witness lack of jobs.

However, market is back with full strenght now this year alone IT has created 2.5 Lacs of new jobs. Of the various factors one of the major factor behind lack of job and goo pay is the large number of IT/CS Engineering graduates. Each year India produces near about 60,000 IT and CS Engineers, plus Lacs of other IT and CS Graduates like- BCA, MCA, B.sc MBA etc. As a result jobs are lesser and professionals are larger. So in that situation the charm is only for the Talented and well qualified Professionals.

But according to present market analysis like wise 2011 IT has created 2.5 Lacs of jobs in comping future also this sector would be promising one. So you need not to worry just complete your further education. And better go for Engineering rather then normal Computer application courses for a much better career prospect.

B-Tech CSE very common course But it have many scopes;
You can apply for Indians company like TCS.SAIL ,BHEL,RELIANCE,WIPRO,INFOSYS and they will pay you a good amount in your hand.
Also you can apply for BSNL as a computer engineer.

Sure to say that there are many job oppurtunities in computer science and IT alone.
Infact these two fields will be Number 1 by the year 2020 or so.
In the present scenario ,there are more than 3 lacs jobs in IT sector and 800000 jobs would be there in the next year according to NASSCOM.
The job options are better in IBM, Wipro, Infosys, Infotech, Ericson, Alcatel and these are the leading companies are over the world.
Freshers can easily get jobs in any BPO or KPO and after gaining some experience ,you can get a good company as well.

what is the difference between deemed university and affliated university?

The recession which occurred 2 years ago in the IT industry forced to witness lack of jobs.

Now as the It Economy is Growing companies are recruiting more number of IT-professionals and software engineers. So you have both IT and CSE. I Recommend you to Take CSE as your Field which will have great scope in the future and you can get a job either as a programmer/tester.

Now days BTech CSE and IT is one of the fastest growing field in India.
So there was lots of scopes of these fields there are many IT companies in India some of are Wipro ,Infosys, Mahindra Satyam ,TCS.Reliance and much more.
There are also many govt jobs available in IT fields.
You can become Junior telecom Engineer in BSNL. and i think it is evergreen field so scopes of these two fields never die so i think it is good.
Now options for Diploma holders-
You have mainly two options available
the first one is go for BTech degree through lateral entry scheme and second one is you can go for doing job as ITI diploma Holders get easily jobs in various companies.

BTech CSE and BTech IT..Both fields are good and scopes are also at large scales.
BTech degree course if of 4 years course and admission is on the basis of AIEEE and IIT-JEE exam and other state wise or institutes wise exams.
As you have write in your question you are diploma holder so you can take directly admission in 2nd year of BTech Degree...
You can take admission through lateral entry scheme and i will clear you there is very less seats available for Diploma holders means under lateral entry Scheme.So you have to try for various colleges to get admission.

if you have complete the diploma then you can enter in the engineering college in the 2nd year, you not need to give any entrance exam for it. you can enter direct in the engineering college. so you have to get good percentage in the diploma.
