what is diffrence between 2d and 3d

well in AutoCAD 2d you will be taught how to draw draft the object on the computer.for instance if you are from mechanical background you can draw sketches of machines and its parts and if you are from civil background then you can make the sketch of houses,buildings etc on the computer.

In AutoAD 3D you will do the designing of the object that you have drafted in AutoCAD 2d.I mean how that object will actually look in reality that you can see in AutoCAD 3d.
