after btech computer science you have 4 choices they are

WHICH IS BETTER B.TECH IN CS OR B.SC COMPUTER SCIENCE IN TERMS OF JOB OPPORTUNITIES

I am finishing my Btech in IT in 2013,June.I am interested to pursue an MBA degree,but have the fear to be eliminated at GD/PI.Also I want to keep a job in hand in case i got eliminated in GD/PI rounds or performed not so well in entrance exams.These entrance exams happen from nov-feb.So if i get a job after btech,will i be able to take a leave to appear for the exams from the company?Because if i quit the job and then find myself not getting good colleges for MBA,then I will be facing some trouble!Na idharka na udharka!PLZ SUGGEST!

After b.tech computer science you have a lots of scope to do job in private sector and government sector also...if you want to do further study then you can do m.tech and m.b.a. also...there are lots of opportunities after completing your b.tech computer science....

I am now about to get into 7th sem in b.e CSE actually i asked to my seniors about what is the use of doing Mtech in CSE they told if you are in other department like Mech or ECE there if u do Mtech you will be specialized in Networks,etc but for CSE you don't need to be masters in JAVA/C/C or any other lang.,for that UG level is better and i don't have interest in teaching profession also what i was planned was to do M.S but i could not afford such a huge fee and i don't have doing interest in MBA also and one important thing i would like to share with you i'm in good college which is top 3rd college in karnataka(BMSCE) again if i write pgcet and join Mtech will it wont make any difference i think finally i would like to ask if i write GATE exam and do Mtech outside our state like IIT's will it be helpful if I'm going for job kindly replay for this..

Well After doing your B-tech you can either get a job through placements from your respective college , or else you can either prepare for CAT or GATE .

M-tech can be done in the course that you are specialized. First of all you need to have grip on c/c++ and Core subjects like java. M.S is not a good course for those who think it is highly expensive. If you think you gotta do MS you can enter it by writing the GRE entrance exam.

You can directly go for jobs in software industry. There are tons of jobs available to B.Tech students.

Or, you can get into ISRO if you are interested in research work.
Or, you can continue for further study like M.Tech or M.B.A.

after completion of your B Tech you can go for further studies like M TECH in software engineering or do MBA.
If you don't wanna do any further studies then go for job.
many MNC companies are there for a computer science students.
In many of them at least 65% of marks are required.
Wipro, satyam, Infosys, Infotech, TCS, BHM etc are very good companies.
Infosys and TCS require a minimum of 73% to apply.
you can directly placed your resume at there websites, if they interested they will contact you.

After completing your B-Tech with Computer Science you have a lots of scope:

1) . You can apply for a job / you can get a job through Campus placements.
2). You can apply for MBA by giving exams like CAT/MAT.
3). You can even apply for M-Tech exams like GATE.
4). You can apply for Abroad studies through GRE.

To get a campus placement the main thing you need is communication skills and technical skills . you must have grip on all the languages like c,c++,java, oracle.
