Re: What are the requirements to take B.Ed course?

    Dear Friend,

To get an admission in any institute for B.Ed course, you should have a graduation degree with honours in particular subject or you should have a master degree in that subject from a recognized university of India.

The percentage for the admission differs from one institute to another. So you can go to their website and make a query about that.

If you wish to do B.Ed from a distance or open university like IGNOU then you should have graduation degree with two(2) years teaching experience in a government school or school recognized by central or state government.

    HELLO,,,,,

To become a teacher, you need to hold a degree and complete a course of initial
    teacher training (ITT).

There are two types of undergraduate ITT.

    These are:

Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BSc) :

This option allows you to specialise in a certain subject (for example, maths, physics,
chemistry or languages), while gaining your honours degree and QTS.

    Bachelor of Education (BEd)

This is an honours degree course in education. BEd degrees are available for both
primary and secondary teaching, but are a particularly popular choice for those
who are interested in teaching primary school children.

Where can I train and how long does it take?

You can complete BA/BSc with QTS or BEd degree courses at universities and
colleges throughout the UK. Courses generally take three or four years full-time,
or four to six years part-time. However, if you have undergraduate credits from
previous study you may be able to complete a course in two years.

Is there any additional funding available?

The financial arrangements for these courses are the same as for all other
undergraduate courses. Find out about funding for undergraduate teacher training

    What qualifications do I need?

Entry requirements vary according to the specific course, although a minimum
of two A levels or equivalent is usually required. You should check with individual
    course providers for details.

To train as a teacher on any programme, you must achieve a standard equivalent
to a grade C in GCSE English and mathematics. If you want to teach primary or
key stage 2/3 (ages 7–14), you must also have achieved a standard equivalent
to a grade C in a science GCSE.

How and when do I apply?

Apply through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS).
For most courses starting in September or October, UCAS accepts applications
between the preceding September and January. It is often also possible to apply
to defer entry for a year.

    ALL THE BEST,,,,,,
