    HI friend,

    Well we all know that The National Eligibility Test (NET) is the national level entrance examination in India for postgraduate candidates who wish to qualify for admission in Ph.D research and/or university level teaching jobs in India. For the humanities and art discipline it is administered by the University Grants Commission (UGC NET) while for the science and engineering discipline it is jointly conducted by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and University Grants Commission .

    Eligibility for NET :

    >> You must have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Masterís Degree.

    >> you must have appeared OR will be appearing at the qualifying Masterís degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited OR candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this Test

    >> The Ph.D. degree holders whose Masterís level examination had been completed by 19th September, 1991 (irrespective of date of declaration of result) shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks

    FOR NET exam u must have done your post graduation , net exam is scheduled twice in year , for technical students csir take the exam , and fellowship is provided wen u clear the net exam.
    60 percent marks in post graduation is necessary, if u have 55 % marks then u should have published 1 publication in sci.

    NET stands for national eligiblity test.UGC will hold the NET exam twice a year- june and December.


    >>To apply the NET examination you need to complete your post garduation with 55% of marks from any recognized university.

    The candidates who are in the final year of post garduation they also applicable for NET examination.


    >>The examination fees of NET was Rs.450/- and candidates may apply for NET examination Online by visit the UPSC website.But before the online application you have to pay the chalan in the SBI bank.

    if you are in final year of master degree then also you are eligible.

    this exam is mainly conducted for lecturership at national level.

    NET Stands for National Eligibility Test which is conducted by UGC(University Grants Commission).
    NET is conducted twice in a year.
    -June
    -December

    The salary may be increasing in the range of Rs.6000-7500/ with your usual salary range.

    Eligibility for NET::

    >>You must have completed Mater degree(PG) in any steam from recognized university
    >>You must pass your PG with minimum of 55% marks
    >>50% for ST/SC/PH/Females
    >>Final year students are also eligible

    NET exam pattern:




    Paper I is designed to check the candidates teaching aptitude and is common to everyone.

    Paper II comprise of objective type question from selected subject.
    Paper III comprise of descriptive type question from selected subject.

    There are 2types of Posts in NET:
    1)Lectureship post(LS)
    2)Junior Research Fellowship(JRF)

    How to apply for NET?

    You have to apply online before the specific date announced by UGC.

    Two print-outs of filled in online application form,exam attendance slip and admission card at the respective centers (with fee receipt and category certificates) are the documents required for applying to this exam.

    This will be of 450rs/- for General and 110 rs/- for SC/ST.

    You have to pay this through SBI Challan form Via Online.

    Hello Friend

    University Grants Commission, National Educational Testing (NET) eligibility requirements

    - you must have secured 55% marks (without rounding off) in your Master Degree or equivalent from University/Institute recognized by UGC in Humanities (including languages), Social Sciences, Computer Science and applications, Electronic Science etc.

    - For SC / ST / PH / VH category 50% marks (without rounding off) in your Master Degree or equivalent is sufficient.

    - If you are appearing or appeared for the Master Degree final year examination and results are still awaited are also eligible to apply for the test and admitted provisionally and shall be considered eligible for JRF, Lectureship eligibility considered only after passing the Master Degree with the above said percentage marks.

    - If you are already a Ph.D degree holder, completed your Master's by 19th September 1991 are also eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks.


    Coming to the Age limit for appearing NET:

    Junior Research Fellowship:

    - Age should not be more than 28 years, there is an age relaxation upto 5 years if you belong to SC / ST / PH / VH categories and to Women applicants.

    - Age relaxation are also provided if you are having research experience, limited to the period spent on research in the relevant subject at your P.G Degree.

    Lectureship:

    There is no Upper age limit for applying lectureship program.

    So friend these are the basic requirements to apply for NET, if you meet all these requirements then examination fee for

    General - Rs.450
    Other Backward Classes - Rs.225
    SC / ST / PH / VH candidates - Rs.110

    It is conducted every year .

    University Grants Commission (UGC) conducts National Eligibility Test (NET) every year.


    Qualification Criteria for NET exam

    You must have completed Post Graduation in the desired subject.

    They must have secured Masterís Degree with a minimum of 55% from any reputed college under UGC recognition.

    If You are appearing for last semester exam ; You can even attend NET exam.

    Thirty Five years is the maximum age limit.

    There is relaxation of 3 years OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

    NET(National Eligibility Test ) is conducted by UGC to select candidates for lecturer post in colleges.

    There are 2 types of Posts for which you can apply in NET:
    1.Lectureship post

    2.Junior Research Fellowship

    Eligibility for NET:

    1.Your age must be within 28 years for JRF,5years age relaxation for SC/ST,BC and PH .

    2.You must have done your post graduation degree with min. 50% marks.

    3.If you are in Final year of your PG then you are also eligible for NET exam.


    Pattern of NET Exam:


    NET exam consists of 3 different Papers.

    NET exam is completely objective from 2012.

    Post graduation is the main requirement to apply for UGC NET exam. You can opt a PG degree in a subject area as per your interest. A minimum of 55% marks in PG level is necessary to apply for this exam. Relaxation in marks is given for reserved categories. There is no higher age limit so as to attend this exam. You can apply online for this exam by logging in to UGC official site. If you qualify this exam with a good score you can apply for professor post in government recognized colleges.

    NET exam is conducted every year to determine the eligibility of Indian Nationals for the award of Junior Research Fellowships and for appointment of Lecturers in science and arts subjects.

    Eligibility

    1- Candidates who have a secured at least 55% marks in Masters degree or any equivalent examination by a recognized institution.
    2- For applying junior Research Fellowship your age must not be more than 28 years.

    1. you must have a graduate degree

    NET-National Eligibility Test, From the full name it is clear that This exam is of national level.You can apply for this examination after successfully completion of your post graduation.This examination is done for the students who want to go for the P.hd and go for the Reserch.



    Before applying in this examination you have to remember the Following things::--


    • For appearing in this examination you must have a Master degree.
    • You have to score minimum 55% Aggregate marks in your PG.
    • If you belog from the resreved category (SC/ST) then yu can get the relaxation by 5%.

    UGC Exam Pattern

    ->UGC NET exam is to be divide into the three papers.



    Paper 1

    ->The first paper is to be related general nature, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate.
    ->It is designed to check the test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness.
    ->There are 60 objective type question candidates are need to be solved only 50 questions that is depends on to the candidates choices.



    Paper 2

    ->Paper 2 is subjective type question paper.
    ->There are 50 compulsory questions and 2 marks noted for each question.
    -> The candidate will be have to mark the responses for questions of Paper-I and Paper-II on the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) sheet provided along with the Test Booklet. ->The detailed instructions for filling up the OMR Sheet will be sent to the candidate along with the Admit Card.

    Re: What are the requirements for NET examination?

    NET exam is conducted by UGC ( union grant commission).

    It is a national level entrance examination conducted for juninor research fellowship post and Lectruership post.

    You must have scored 55 % marks in PG.
    And for sc /st /ph /vh 50 % marks is required.

    Age limt :
    for jRf 28 years is maximum age limit.
    And for lectruership no upper age is specified.

    You have to fill the form Online through paying application fees by Bank challan.

    Application form fees :
    gen : Rs450.
    Obc : Rs 225.
    Sc /sc : Rs 110.
