There are a large number of CBSE schools in our country and the maximum number of students who study from English medium schools generally want to study from CBSE board.
There may be different conditions laid down by different schools for the purpose for applying for the post of a principal.This is a position of great respect and honor as everybody in the
whole schools and the others who believe in education have a kind of respect in their hearts.
The various conditions can be as follows:
1)The candidate should satisfy the minimum qualification for that particular post.Generally it is that candidate must possess at least a post graduation degree.

2)The candidate should have good communication skills as at times he may be required to communicate with the students and with their wards.

3)Thirdly there may be a condition that the principal should invest a certain sum in the ownership of the school.

Your answer is -- The qualification is required for CBSC Principal are-

MUST-- 10th or 12th from CBSC or ICSE board mean ENGLISH MEDIUM SCHOOL.
Well knowledge and awareness of handling conferences and ability to handling conflict , quick decision making ability , transparancy should be there.

1) Master Degree with minimum 50% marks or more .
2) minimum eight years experience in a reputed secondary / Senior Secondary School / Inter / Junior College
3) Degree in education / teaching of a recognized university.
4) three years experience in educational administration.
5) Working knowledge of Hindi and Urdu and the knowledge of other language is additional advantage.

Age should be between 30 to 50 approx.

>> You must have passed out your masters degree with a minimum of 55% and must get Qualified in National Eligibility Test(NET) or any State Level Eligibility Test(SLET).

>> A Ph.D. Degree in concerned/allied/relevant discipline(s) in the institution concerned
with evidence of published work and research guidance.

>> Associate Professor/Professor with a total experience of fifteen years of
teaching/research/administration in Universities, Colleges and other institutions of
higher education.

>> A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based
Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), as set out in this Regulation in

Eligibility for SLET:
