If you have completed 12th standard then you are applicable for Indian Army exam through NDA Exam.

NDA - Stands for National Defence Academy.This examination is conducted by the Union public service commission (UPSC) twice in a year.

NDA Examination is conducted in 3 wings:

• Indian Air Force
• Indian Navy
• Indian Army

If you have completed 12th standard with science department then you are applicable for all above post other wise only in Indian Army post.

Your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years old .There is no age relaxation for SC/ST , OBC Candidate .

Only unmarried male candidate are eligible for NDA exam.You must have a citizenship of India.

If you have completed Graduation degree then you are applicable for Indian Army exam through CDS Exam.

CDS stands COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICE

Graduate candidate from recognized university are applicable for CDS exam .

The Age limit for CDS exam :-

Indian Military Academy - 19 to 24 years
Indian naval Academy - 19 to 22 years
Indian Air Force Academy - 19 to 23 years
Indian Officer's Training Academy - 19 to 25 years

You must have a citizenship of India

Indian Army is wing of NDA( National Defence Academy ) ,NDA is Conducted by UPSC (UNION public Service Commission ) twice in a year.

NDA consists three wings:
Indian Army
Airforce and Indian Navy.
NDA Educational Qualification for INDIAN Army:

*A Candidate must have 12th pass with Atleast 50%.
*Candidate should be citizen of India.
*Age limit 16.5 to 19 years .
*Candidate must be Male and unmarried.
*Candidate should be physically and mentally fit.

To join Indian Army you have to appear in NDA Entrance Exams , conducted by UPSC evry year twice.

Candidates should be a citizen of India

You can join Indian Army after Intermediate or after B.tech

The basic qualifications are:

1) You must be the citizen od India.

2) you must be Male

3) you must be unmarried

4) you must be physically Fit.

The required eiligibity criteria for Indian Army :

If you are 12th class passed candidate than you have to apply for NDA Examination .

Age : 16.5 to 19 years.

And graduate than Through CDS exam you can join Indian Army .

Age : 19 to 23 years.

Both the exam is conducted by UPSC every year two times .
Candidates must have Citizenship of India .

Selection Procedure :
Written Exam
SSB Interview
and Medical Test.
