    The only Required qualifications for IBPS clerk post is one must complete his/her graduation(as on 1st july,2013) from any recognized university of India with at least 60% of marks and above.If you are a diploma then you are not allowed to appear in IBPS clerk examination.

    IBPS- Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. It conduct the bank exam every year for clerk for 19 public sector of bank.

    If you have completed graduation degree OR if you have completed diploma degree then you are applicable for IBPS Clerk Exam.You must have knowledge of computer science .

    Your age should be in between 20 to 28 years old.

    Eligibility for IBPS Clerk exam:-


    - 12th passed with at least 50% from a recognized board or graduate from a recognized university.

    - For reserved category 12th passed from a recognized board or graduate from a recognized university.

    - Age minimum 18 years & maximum 28 years. Age relaxation-SC/ST up to 5 years & OBC up to 3 years.

    Hello friend
    As we all know that the clerk exam is conducted by the ibps in the season of nov or dec . So from 2012 the ibps started the new guide lines in form no 22 bank will participate in the ibps exam and the educational qualification required is graduation and the age limit for the general is 20 to 28 or rest caste has some benefits the exam will be now online in which you have to give the answer on the computer screen.

    dear IBPS CLERK exam become the center of attraction for all undergraduates like you. Until March 2012, IBPS is conducting Common Written Exams only for 19 Public Sector banks. But in March 2012, IBPS had been given additional responsibility to conduct the Common Written Exam for Regional Rural Bank's and following these orders of Govt of India, IBPS decided to conduct the First Common Written Exam for 82 Regional Rural Banks in September, 2012

    The dates for registration for IBPS Clerk Common Written Exam are from October 2013 to November 2013
    The actual date of the exam has not been announced yet. However, tentatively, the exam is scheduled in the month of December, 2013.

    clerk exams you must be the citizen of india, Nepal, or Bhutan. you can be a Tibetan refugee but you must came to the india before 1st January 1962.

    The exam will be worth 200 marks. Candidates will be awarded 1 mark for each right answer and 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

    A degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.

    IBPS clerical age limit :

    a)Age Limitation is 20 to 28 years
    b)For OBC Age relaxation - 3 years

    You are asking for the Clerical Cadre no need to worry

    For that you must have a minimum of 12th class from a recognized university


    The minimum age is 18 years

    FROM NOW ONWARDS ... the Qualification is changed as the GRADATION /.. Check it once

    You must be an Indian Citizen


    Maximum age is allowed up to 28 years

    You need to Get a Good score in the C.W.E ( COMMON WRITTEN EXAMINATION )

    My dear friend.

    IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection.

    The IBPS clerk exam is conducted by IBPS.

    You can appear for IBPS exam after completing degree
    Degree is the least qualification to appear for clerk exam
    The minimum age limit for appearing the exam is 20 years
    Where as the maximum age limit is 28 years
    Yes also age relaxations are given for various candidates belong to OBC, SC, ST, widowed women etc
    The age relaxations are
    • OBC - 3 years
    • SC, ST - 5 years
    • widowed women - 9 years
    • Person's with disabilities - 10 years

    You must compulsory have the computer proficiency and it is must
    There is an advantage of getting selected easily if you have good proficiency in local languages

    There are two entrance exams by the Institute of Banking Personnel Services. First one is IBPS Clerk and second one is IBPS Bank PO. Both exams are conducted on the behalf of 19 Public Sector Banks.

    The criteria of education is graduation degree for both the exams. Earlier the criteria was 12th standard for IBPS Clerk entrance exam. Candidates of SC/ST were allowed to appear for it after completing 10th. However recently this has been changed.

    Now even for IBPS Clerk exam candidate should have graduation degree. This amendment was made on the request of Public Sector Banks. The 19 PSU banks that participates in the exams are:-
