    NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conducted by UGC.This exam will be happen twice time in a year.

    Those candidate have completed masters degree from recognized university are eligible for NET exam.

    For general and OBC candidate must be hold 55%above in masters degree. SC/ST candidate must be hold 50% above in masters degree.

    Part time course are not eligible for NET exam.

    For Junior research fellowship course your age must be in between 19 to 28 years.

    For lectureship ,There is no upper age limit but the Minimum age is 19 years.

    NET exam is conduct because of govt college lecturer and PHD entrance.

    FEES FOR NET EXAM

    For General Candidate-450
    For OBC candidate-225
    For SC/ST candidate-150

    NEW PATTERN FOR NET EXAM

    For Paper I-

    It's has 60 Question.Out of 60 Question , you can answered 50 Question.Total marks of this paper is 100 marks.The time duration for this session is 1ľ Hours (09.30 a.m. to 10.45 a.m.)

    For Paper II-

    It has 50 question.All Question are compulsory . Total marks of this paper is 100 marks.The time duration for this session is 1ľ Hours (10.45 a.m. to 12.00 Noon.)

    For Paper III-

    It has 75 question.All Question are compulsory . Total marks of this paper is 150 marks.The time duration for this session is 2Ĺ Hours (01.30 p.m. to 04.00 p.m.)

    NET exam is conducted by UGC every year.
    it requires master degree.
    students are in final are also eligible for NET.
    the last date for application form of NET is 30th april.

    Hi friend,

    Even with PG courses you must have certain eligibility conditions.

    Following are the conditions of eligibility on the basis of qualification.

    CONDITIONS OF ELIGIBILITY:

    i) You must have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in

    Masterís Degree from universities recognised by UGC. The SC/ST/Physically

    Handicapped category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks

    (without rounding off) in Masterís degree or equivalent examination are

    also eligible for this Test.

    ii) If you want to seek concession in fee you are required to submit attested

    copy of your OBC/SC/ST/PH/VH certificate along with online

    printout of your Application Forms (obtained while applying on-line). Other

    candidates are not required to submit any certificates/documents in support

    of your eligibility along with printout of their Application Form.

    iv) Your post-graduate should ascertain the equivalence of their course(s)

    with Masterís degree of recognized Indian universities from Association of

    Indian Universities (AIU).

    dear university of grants commission (UGC) conducts national eligibility test (NET) to get lecturers and for award of the junior research fellowship for the Indians like you ,this test is conducted including
    • languages,
    • social sciences,
    • forensic sciences,
    • environmental sciences,
    computer science with application's and electronic sciences also.
    and the CSIR conducts the UGC-CSIR-NET for the science subjects like
    • life sciences,
    • mathematical sciences,
    • chemical sciences,
    • earth atmospheric ocean ,
    • planetary sciences,
    eligibility
    if you have your masters degree with 55% of marks from any recognized university or may be by recognized by the UGC in humanities , social sciences,
    computer science and applications,
    electrical science,etc,
    are eligible for this exam,
    if you are in the final year of your masters degree programme than you are eligible for this exam ,not only that if you are belong to the SC/ST/PH than you may get 50% in your masters degree to get eligible,
    age limit
    you must have not more than 28 years as on 1-06-2012 to get eligible,
    if you are belong to the SC/ST/PH than you have 5 years of age relaxation,
    you will have three papers to attempt in objective type,
    there will be two sessions
    in first session you have 2 papers ,
    paper-paper-1 consists of 60 questions out of which you have to write 50 questions in 75 minutes which carries 100 marks
    paper-2 consists of 50 questions out of which you have to write 50 questions in 75 minutes which carries 100 marks .
    second session consists of paper-3
    paper-3consists of 75 questions out of which you have to write 75 questions in 150 minutes which carries 150 marks .
    you have to get 35% if you are from OBC category sc/st =35%,
    and general you have to get 40%of marks.

    Required percentage for appearing in UGC NET examination :
    The candidates must have post graduation minimum completed with 55 % from a recognized university..

    Less than 55 % are not allowed to appear in NET examination.

    For Sc / St 50 % is required.

    The NET exam is conducted for two post :
    JRF
    Lectruership post.

    Age limt :
    JRF : Maximum 28 years ,and after this age limit you can apply for JRf post.

    Lectruership post : No upper age specified..

    NET exam is conducted two times in the month f June and December.

    Notifications were established on official website of UGC.

    You have to apply online on UGC website.

    Application fees :
    you have to pay the fees through Back challan.

    Fees :
    general Rs 450
    OBC Rs 225 and sc or st : Rs 110.

    NET stands for National Eligibility Test.

    NET exam being conducted by UGC.

    This exam will be conducted for the award of junior Research Fellowship(JRF) and also for eligibility into Lectureship.

    You should have completed post graduation from any recognized university.

    One should have to score a min of 55% of marks in their post graduation course in order to be eligible for this exam.

    Relaxation is there in percentage of marks upto 5% for tech candidates of sc/st category.

    Age limit is there is no upper age limit for the candidate Lectureship.

    But for JRF, one should be in the age group of 19-28 years.
